It's not the cover, it's the "one button rule 'em all!"

All factions cheat anyways, you have the Rippahz with Brutes that can charge you from 50 meters away, while taking a staircase and making a 120-degree turn in a tight corridor. We have the Trollectors, who have the Praetorians shooting lazers out their ass even after they die (through walls).

We have the Geth, with Pyros with flamethrowers with a range of a Hades Cannon. And of course the Sniper Prime, with the turret, that distributes a firepower of a Capital Ship. And of course the Emperor's team, with DoT Atlases, with their rockets that cannot be dodged once it homed onto you. And dat wave 7 Cerby/Gold, with turrets at every corner.

That's why I only play on Wood difficulty.

I actually tested once by pausing the game in MP and teleported like a mile from the atlas rocket about to hit me. I unpaused it, it make a 100% turn in one frame. So I repeated the process about 25 times, making the rocket go for about a whole minute straight. It makes exact turns, no radius or anything. I don't understand how they thought that was acceptable. How does it even miss?

Mass Effect 4,

Frostbite destructible environments,

Krogans barreling right through cover... and walls.

Just wait.

I once saw someone propose that in the first moment or two of flight, the game calculates whether the rocket/warp ball hits, then paths it accordingly. I'd believe it, since I've had both hit me through hard cover. I've even seen warp balls literally go through walls to get me, plus the times they were still meters away when applying hit effects.

I was about to get in serious trouble in the office because of pics and lol'ing. But the OT-guys showed up and saved me. Thanks.

Or you could git gud.

Come on BSN. How did this survive unmolested for nearly 2 years?

Better question, why did you bump a 2 year dead thread?

Even better question, why not ask the person who bumped the thread instead of someone who posted after it had already been bumped?

It doesn't. And it's really lame. It's like the players pulling the rocket on a string towards themselves till it hits.

I'd settle for cover that actually blocks enemy attacks.

Hell I'm still looking for this cover that will "suck me" like the OP suggests.

Well, there are some waist high counters on most maps...
