OP, I have experienced pugs complaints about me cheating because I "magically" survived a Phantom synch kill. Pugs don't seem to understand the power of the ops pack. Even when I explain what invulnerable frames are, they just won't accept it.

Another trick to avoiding a sync-kill from a Praetorian. It only works if you already had your missile launcher out, but you can fire a missile while it has you lifted off the ground.

I've only ever gotten it to work once, so I'm not 100% sure it's repeatable.

I know your pain RedJohn, with the recent influx of newbs, and my returning love for this game, I'm finding a LOT of people who are ignorant of basic game mechanics. Fire a Widow twice as a human soldier? Cheating, survive a Phantom sword? Cheating, reload cancel? Cheating... I could go on.

I`m actually surprised you havn`t gotten more when your hosting RJ, is the moon in full phase right now? or is there some form of cosmetic alignment that gives you a better connection going on? Might actually be that, I haven`t haad issues with EA servers yet today, and its almost been an hour. Creepy. *ouch* yeah I`m awake. This is wierd.

LOL i remember  a friend who told me last night on origin that a random guy were yelling at him because he was using Reload cancell on his widow and shotting though walls

nah,. given the average pugs experience with OPs packs probably not doing anything to save them, and just being wasted can you blame them?

Today I was with PUG's and they were not very good let's say, you know, there was the typical host that thinks he is the real leader of the team and therefore we should follow his orders.

I tried to follow his game until he shouted at me, then I played by my own, btw, the thing is, as usually happens sometimes the other 3 players died and I had to solo the wave, wasn't big deal, I wasn't lagging at least he has good connection, then suddenly i got stabbed by a Phantom but I didn't die, the guy started yelling at me calling me cheater and then he left the lobby, i lost connection, no credits and my consumables lost, and that made me realise that some people just don't pay attention at the posibilities that the game offers to you to survive and for that reason I come here to humbly share a simple tip with you that can save your team most of the times.

Oh snap you got owned it's kinda funny in a way. That sucks though for real.

Maybe you can just write "only" the info about using ops pack to avoid sync kill? instead of degrading others along the way?

cos he likes to tell the truth whilst setting the scene perhaps, besides why do you care if he derides others with less ability in such a fashion its not like he was screaming

"thease friggin noobs keep dying n bleedin out on wave 1 in bronze " which would of been untrue, oh and he's carried me in matches a few times when i've had the pleasure to be in one with him and got myself gibbed

unless of course your one of the newbies he was refering to in the match he's talking about

i had an awesome glitch a few days ago, killed by a phantom, i started hitting A button as my body rolled down the ramp and then suddenly i was alive without being revived or medigel. 
I saw someone mention the ops pack to block phantom the other day, not sure i will ever remember it to do it in time to save me. If im getting sync killed im usually panicking

That's good information for everyone to know RJ :] I didn't find out about the Thermal pack temporary boost in damage until well into my ME3 playing last year.  

yeah i found this out from a random thread on here. I havent actually tried comparing it and seeing how well it works.
