Thanks! I didn't play games for ten years until I got Mass Effect as a birthday gift and since I've spend countless hours playing ME1 to 3. So many great moments. I hope you have some of those left in this probable last DLC.

Keepers? Crucible? Excited!

Not quite... tears, last DLC, all writers (thank the spirits...), music, major character voice overs, citadel...

"We found Shepherd."

ohh I don't want to get my hopes up

This is it. It's do or die. Remember the Mu Relay. Remember the Collector Base.

I've been elated, I've been disappointed, I've made friends and enemies . . . I've got a lot of time invested in this, and I wouldn't have if I didn't care.

You folks at Bioware did that. Thanks for the ride, and thanks sincerely for the titanic effort.

If this is not the ending we deserve, I swear, my faction will fight harder than ever for it, no matter how many times Bioware says, "No."

I thought we were getting three mission DLCs before they wrapped it up? So far Leviathan and Omega, so where's the third?

We are getting another one.

I believe it's being developed by the Omega team, not the (bulk of the) team that made the trilogy.

So this upcoming "Epic" DLC will be the last then?

anything Citadel-related (as people have pointed out in the game files that's what the next DLC is based on) would be far from epic, especially further halfway-through-the-storyline Citadel roaming when you got a galaxy-wide war going on

Actually it is by the Edmonton team that made the trilogy and Leviathan, not the Montreal team that made Omega.

Whatever this DLC is, it has all the writers involved (8-9 of them, if Dusty Everman is on writing duties for Cortez rather than just simply Level Design) and Sam Hullick as the composer. This is compared with Omega which mainly had 2 writers (Ann Lemay and Neil Pollner according to a Twitter post a while back).

What a great series. The hard work the dev teams put into the games is much appreciated. Thanks to the great people involved with Mass Effect.

I remember falling in love with Mass Effect when I first played it and despite the mediocre third game, I'll always have that memory.

So Bioware really do get my thanks for giving me such fond things to think back on.

Hopefully this final piece of DLC will be something that sparks my interest. I'd hate for the final game to be such a sour one for me.

I 24 years of videogmaing, ME is easily my favorite series. I'm going to be on edge for the next couple of years until they release ME4. Hopefully it will be anounced soon.

I for one am curious to see what Casey's new IP will be. Can't be fantasy because they've got Dragon Age, can't be sci-fi because they have Mass Effect and I doubt he would want to work on another sci-fi after 10 years of KOTOR and Mass Effect.

I hope it's super heroes!

Want a time travel RPG. Not set in this universe, but not as wacky as Chrono Trigger.

^YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS, KOTOR 3 MAKE ME HAPPY, SW:TOR MAKE ME CRAPPY.

Wonderful series. I am glad I decided to pick ME1 up at the video rental store. I learned to never judge a game by its cover back in Jan 2010. Never played an RPG that good for a long time.

Who is making Mass Effect 4?

Just got riddled with feels by reading that.

The end is coming. We know it's coming. Yet I'm not sure I'm ready for it.

I wasn't surprised at the news but it doesn't make it any easier to take. Posted Image

But hey, what an incredible ride this has been. While I jumped on the ME wagon a bit late I've since played the trilogy and all presently available DLC's many times over to make up for it.

So to all that were involved in putting together such an amazing galaxy of locations, characters and events, thank you.

KOTOR 3?

KOTOR3, wrapping up the stories from KOTOR1 and KOTOR2. That would be freaking awesome.
JE was pretty good in its days, but I'm not that interested in a JE2. Maybe something similar in a non-chinese setting.

I've overdosed on elves and dwarves after playing through DA like a million times. Space is always nice, but it would have to be something completely different from the ME universe, imo.

Good good. They overcharged Omega. It wasn't as good as TLOTSB, almost level and they charged waay more. Since they released the fantastic DLC, Omega, I will be expecting the next one to exclipse TLOTSB.

Standards maybe a bit high, but they set the tone for the last DLC with Omega :)
