Never before have I ever had such a strong and emotional connection to a video game series. Thank you for a sublime trilogy and experience, it was one hell of a journey.
To everybody at Bioware Edmonton: Thanks, from over 100 fans!

Thank you for 2 perfect games (1 & 2) and thanks for the hard work on 3.
I am sorry I couldn't see your vision for ME3 as you saw it, but I do appreciate the work you guys did.
I hope your next game gets widely liked and appreciated by all the fans and you get many awards. The world of ME is incredible and deserves to continue successfully.

I cannot say I find Mass Effect particularly groundbreaking or really amazing. It is certainly not amongst my five favourite franchises, nor are any of the individual ME titles in the relevant list. I am also unable to say I am satisfied with the singleplayer portion of Mass Effect 3. Not only because of the ending, but also many other reasons that have been mentioned by members of this forum countless times, and therefore will not be repeated here. The MP is quite satisfying, though.
However, I can genuinely tell you that I certainly appreciate and respect BioWare's work, despite not agreeing with many of the decisions that have been made and being rather disappointed with the lies we've been fed during the game's development. And that, overall, I still consider ME3 a good game. Due to the multiplayer portion and a rather limited part of the SP, but good nevertheless.
Mass Effect 2, I believe, is my favourite of the series. I have yet to play a game made by BioWare whose story I can give high praises to, though I admittedly did not play Neverwinter Nights or Jade Empire. That, however, is not as big an issue as one might think it is. I have never played any BW title for the story. I did so for the characters, who, despite not being particularly complex or innovative, are most certainly relatable and, overall, I find myself appreciating most of them. That is not to say I like them all as people, though. And this is, in my opinion, what ME2 has going for it. The characters. More specifically, the squadmates. They, coupled together with vastly improved gameplay and exquisite music, make ME2 top the other two Mass Effect titles.
Then comes Mass Effect 1. A game I'm relatively fond of, but not one I am willing to play again. The gameplay is deplorable, the story is awfully generic, the graphics outdated (not to say other MEs, or rather, BioWare games, do not possess the same flaw) and the art style not really all that satisfying. What made me capable of enjoying this game were once more the characters, and the music. In fact, I listen to a rather large portion of the soundtrack to this day, and some pieces (such as Spectre Induction) flood me with nostalgia, despite not being all that long since I've played the game.
Lastly, I will finally say something on-topic (
) and direct my following words to every single man and woman who has had any interaction, no matter how slight, to the development of those three games:
For your work, your dedication, your passion and for hundreds of hours of entertainment I got out of this trilogy, I say - Thank you.

Indeed Bioware many thanks for the whole ME series, I have a few minor problems with it but on the whole a stunning series. Just one thing ignor the haters & go with what YOU want to do for the next game. Please make it a RPG as well.

Bioware, you've broken your fanbase, destroyed your reputation, gutted one of your most-loved franchises, sold yourselves out, generally become a laughing stock...
...and you've created one of the most engaging, compelling, and best-written game series that I have ever had the pleasure to experience, and should stand as a example for the entire gaming industry.
Thank you.

as much as I may have complained about all the things that went wrong with ME3 and all the things I that angered me about it, I am thankful of the things that were good about it.
I hope the edmonton team will learn from both their own mistakes with the multiplayer and yours when making the next Mass Effect game, because it will be an even bigger dissappoint Mass Effect 3

I'm a 28-year-old hardcore gamer and sci-fi fan, and I can honestly say the Mass Effect series is my bible. The best sci-fi series I've ever experienced.
And extra respect for the Particle Rifle and Reegar Carbine. Firebeams of death FTW.
