Hi Folks,
I´m just writting to tell you about my experience with Dragon Age and the custommer support in Germany (ea).
I`ve bought the DvD on release date. Very happy to get an new RPG. But it was unpossible to install the game, and so i have to go back the store and change the dvd.
I installed the game and played until the first patch, after this it was not possible to start the game. The mail to the support team did not even get an answer, but i found the solution (microsift update) in this forum.
So I was back in game until I should go to the elvish part of Denerim (slums). Every time I tryed to enter this townpart I got the game message "unable to load area" and game finished to mainmenu.
Again I wrote a message to EA and got a really stuppid answers that shows that the person that answerd did not read my mail just stupid copy/paste text modules without any coherence to my problems.
I re/installed the games nearly 16 times, without any result.
I played several saved games to this part of the game, wih the result "unable to load area"
I wrote again a Mail to the support team, without any reaction.
I looked up any forum with dragon age content and found no working solution.
So i bought a new DVD, did a install and now..its working.
A mail to the so called support is not answerd until today.
Conclusion:
I payed two times for a game, did not get any support and it is the last time i boght a game that has anything to do with EA.
Not even a sorry for the worst customer handling I ever was in contact with...so thanks to the community, and for all players with the unable to load area message:
Try out a new installation with an other dvd, perhaps from a friend, I think you can use your first CD-key. And i wish you luck that it works for you, for me it was the solution.
