I know. Honestly, I think bioware has given up on us. But it could be a funny thread to make. That would be full of personal attacks.

As for the 'ruin other my games busniness'. I had you confused with someone elsen in another thread, and since I edited my last comment out, I will still (to do my own thing for a better forum) conquor that you personal didn't say that and so apologize for accussing you off it.

(Though I didn't say it either, I was making the specific point that it was an argument I would not use)

Rune of fortune is a time saver. For people who chase a toddler all day and have to fit their gaming sessions int the toddler's nap schedule anything that saves time from "grinding" is a godsend. People in UNI on their exams period, people who work long hours, teenagers who parents control gaming time are also in the list of gamers who would happily use the rune, so they can progress with the fun bits (story/ graphics/ music) while rushing through the rest.

I honestly don't know if I think it did that much, and I don't think you even can grind in dragon age.
But I still think that the trade off is fair: Slightly worse equipment for the price of slightly more money or experience, sounds fair to me.

I would rather like to see the rune system over hauled completely and given more depth... say similar to The Secret World's.

I just do not use aspects of a game I find foolish OP, so why should you care what others use. I personally find these aspects added in to flesh out poorly designed systems. The percentage increase for items/gear was a joke anyway, as itemisation and/or gear design choices were poor in DA2 imo.

They want to increase replay, they want to increase the life of their product - then having optional dungeons with more monsters and stuff would be a far better fit then most other features.

Keep the Runes

On Topic: I can see your gripe here. I have the same problem to some extent, but you've just got to shrug it off I guess, no matter how compelling "improved dropped loot + 5% moar xp" may be :xx
Most people don't take notice of these stats, and I doubt Bioware would punish you for not implementing them, so it should be okay to choose Spirit Resistance over Increased Gold Drop without worry of being put at a disadvantage c:
