Hi!
What do you think is the best strategy with a rouge wielding dual weapons, going for high dex and wielding two daggers, or raise strength too, and wield two longswords?

Generally, should I raise strength on a rouge?

Heck no.

Max cunning or max dexterity. Don't raise strength above 20 or 22 at the most.

For damage, max cunning. For not dying, max dexterity.

A lot of this really boils down to how you plan to play.

The cunning based rogue has a lot more to offer synergy wise with a party. Their main drawbacks vs a Dexterity based rogue which are lack of hit rating and defense rating get compensated for with a tank (I.E. he won't be getting swung at) and buffs/debuffs. In this kind of setting his higher damage potential can shine. Cunning also influences conversation checks (of which there are a lot) as well as lots of other rogue skills. Dex gets put to the bare minimum for skills and gear and rest into cunning.

If, on the other hand, you plan to solo a lot the Dex based rogue is the way to go. You'll need the higher defense and attack rating.

I find a little foundation helps with my rouge. A little dab will do you, though. And you really shouldn't need more than one hand, unless you are wielding your compact's mirror.

First off, I am going to assume the two weapons you are speaking of for applying rouge is the powder blush and color stick. I can not fathom where you get daggers and longswords from.

I will then say that dexterity is most important here, and there is no need for strength at all. In fact, my mammy used to tell me that the secret of application is all in the wrist.

Now the secret is in the evenness of the base foundation. All great buildings have a solid foundation, and all great men have a great home foundation. The correct tone(s) and shading will bring out the brilliance of colors thereafter, which is where the rouge will then be put upon.

Dab once, flick twice my pappy used to always say. There are also some great primers on YouTube from bubbiosity and happy slip on the correct application of makeup.

Happy blushing!

Sarcasm aside...

My first rogue I gave enough strength to dual wield two full-sized weapons and wear medium armor (34). It was less than ideal, but it worked fine, and I enjoyed it. Max 20 strength is a stronger build overall. The benefits of medium armor and large weapons are pretty small.

You'd think Bioware would have called the damn class thief or scoundrel after ditching 3e rules.
