Not much you could do with Omega in the context of ME3's main story. So I don't really have a good baseline.
It would be unfair to judge a studio on how well they can expand the ME universe with a NEW story based on how they shoe horned a tangent into the current one.
Does the Omega DLC make you worry about the next ME game? (considering its made by the same studio)

I was worried about the next ME game, way back in March 2012. I was even more worried when Bioware demonstrated how bad their PR really is. And then I became even more worried once I saw how the EC was not the fix the ending truly needed.
Omega DLC and Bioware Montreal only cemented it further on how exquisitely screwed this franchise really is.
