Honestly, i can't decide.

  I'd say Batarian anything but the windup is way too slow for my tastes, usually a team mate just runs up and kills whatever I'm in the middle of falcon punching. Not to mention it's too slow for my tastes against phantoms, even staggering them with a biotic charge, the windup is too slow unless your timing is picture perfect, which can be up in the air due to lag concerns. With those problems in mind, I would have to go with the Kroguard.

Paladin by far. One of the best light/heavy melee combos imho. Plus shield slapping a Brute to death just looks awesome.

Krogan charges are pretty fun and I actually like the Fury's and Ghost's melee.

While asari have terrible heavy melee drawbacks (being effectively stunned for a couple seconds afterwards) I just got done absolutely raping geth using a melee build huntress +shotgun omniblade + martial biotic gear, steath bombing three fully shielded pyros and scattering their remains across the floor was glorious. (not to mention consistently oneshotting bombers)

 For regular melee, Slayer.  Though Shadow would be it for fire and taser sword if she also BAMF'd.

For Heavy melee, Destroyer.  So satisfying to stomp a phantom into the ground.

Vorcha, the only one that never misses for me. The target can roll, duck, drop down a level and my vorcha will still hit it.

And the vorcha has the best cover grab move.  Reminds me of a cat.

Batarian. Heavy melee obviously, but more so the way he swings the gun to batter his opponent upside the face during a combo. This pleases me.

Definitely the Turian Havoc Soldier. Jetpack goodness galroe, exploding flaming punch, what's not to like?

I gotta admit, hatesurfing is also quite fun. But jetpacks win.
