Which one of the options is the Control ending?
I'm glad you're here to not understand the point of this poll!
What makes you think I don't understand the point you're TRYING to make?
Also, the first option needs to be changed. It should be: Protagonist in coma and antagonist deactivated / in coma too.
PS: Even a dead god can dream.

1. No, I'm saying there is no excuse for it just like their is no exscuse for commiting genocide to stop a war.
Sacrificing soldiers is never genocide.
So, if this was WWII and we could win by nuking our allies and enemies at the same time, it would be okay?
If aliens attacked the Earth and all the nations got together and decided that the only way to stop them was to make a weapon that could do (x) times as much damage as a nuclear warhead. But the enemy was concentrated in (insert country) and using it would wipe out the a large chunk of the surviving population of that country.
Would you deploy the weapon or let Earth be taken over and the human race become extinct?

Doesn't mean you shouldn't think for yourself. Or does your loyalty blind you?

That's your argument? I'm a slave? You do know soldiers follow and obey orders so by your logic they are all slaves thus shep is a slave anyways and yet I still choose to kill the reapers.
I'm telling you to think for yourself, and not let supposed superiors decide for you.

You're a spectre, not Hackett's lapdog.
You are the only person who understands the Reapers with your experiences with the beacons, and with your experiences with the reapers themselves.
You must think for yourself without outside influence, otherwise your choice is not your own, and as such, you are nothing more than a tool. You have the same results, but your method of selection was flawed.

I mean is that really the beat argument for not picking destroy you can come up with? people who follow orders don't make there own choices and are slaves... Really? How about owning actual slaves(control) and taking away everyones right to decided for themselves (synthesis)
Not once did I argue against or for any ending choice.
You have simply been conditioned by this forum to think so.

That's exactly why I know they must be destroyed.

Protangonists in stories exist to show the player/viewer/read what is right. Antagonists exist to show you what is wrong.

Your reasoning is sound, however I find your second point to be incorrect. It is not a vacuum on the citadel. The catalyst fills that vacuum. It is Shepard's choice alone.

Okay what exactly are you trying saying then? Did You just came to tell me I'm a slave cause I trust Hackett and everyone else that has been with me since the beginning trying to stop the reapers and choose to honor there hard work and sacrifices by doing just that when the time came?
I want you to make up your own mind based on what you know. That's it.

The only advice you get is from the admited leader of the main antagonists of the series, and none from your allies, and that's okay? Nothing could possibly go wrong!

And I learned what I now know by listening to other people and their views, allies and enemies. That knowledge gives me the context I need to know destroying the Reapers is the only option.

Your allies are not there.
Also, said antagonist has helped you get to that point, it is not unreasonable to listen to what he has to say. Trusting it is one thing, but hearing it out is a viable course of action. What you do next must be based on your choice and careful consideration. It does not force you to pick anything. That alone is up to you.

BleedingUranium, your signature is wrong. A steak tastes really good, ME3 does not. So ME3 is not a steak, but a badly made burger.
