If you're playing the console version of Dragon Age you're doing it wrong.

Some of us enjoy playing games with out the constant upgrades, right now things our tough in our household so its cheaper by far to get games by gamefly and only save for ones i really want like DAO ,then to upgrade my PC all the time, the 360 we have , we had gotten back when things were going better.

Like me I am disabled and unable to buy a new PC , right now I just barely run WOW anymore , i have 2.8 Pent 4 and 1 gb ram and a 512 vid card , i wish i could upgrade but i cant :s

I would rather they get the DLC and Expansions out while i still have interest in the game than in 6 months when i'm done with it and don't feel like reinstalling it.

That's what happened with Oblivion when Shivering Isles came out, I was already done with the game and missed on what people say is a great expansion.

As for playing on a PS3, i guess that is a choice that comes with its pros and cons.

I'm only up for buying DLC that I believe is worth it and that I want. Wardens Keep wasn't, so I haven't bought it, and Return to Ostagar doesn't seem to be, so i'm not going to buy it.

Awakening does look like something I want, so if it warrants its price tag, i'll buy it.

Well I'm not, but that's for an entirely different reason. I figure for the price of 4 DLCs I can get another game, which is a better use of my money than another 2 hours of DA:O.

I won't, but mayhaps the xp with said DLCs will tempt me.

Ive owned my PS3 for a year and a half, and honest to god truth DA:O is the FIRST game ive actually enjoyed playing on my overlly priced game system, so I figure a few bucks for DLC is worth it, most PS3 games out at the moment suck in my opinion.

Not sure on RtO probably will due to wanting to support Bioware.

I'll wait for reviews but am very interested in Awakening if its proper expansion pack material rather than DLC dressed up like one.

I may buy them sometime down the road when I do not need to be connected to the internet to use them and they work out all the kinks in the gameplay. I should've waited to buy the game but I cant play wow right now....

Another thread that's turned into Pcs vs Consoles.

And of course you wont be alone OP, its a players choice to buy DLC or not.

Lucky Ps3 user here, havent encounted any of these "game breaking bugs"...and yes, ll be getting as much DLC as l can....cause l choose too.

I use the PS3 version and have yet to see any bugs or graphical issues.

Don't over heat the system by playing 24/7. Get an intercooler or play less.

I will buy the DLC, because it is fully worth it.

I have not had any bugs or graphical issues in 6 playthroughs of the game on my 360. I will buy the DLC and Xpac mainly because I am an achievement **** and cannot stand having uncomleted achevements on anygame.

Staying far away from any DLC here, purely by principle. Giving out half assed games and then charging for DLC what should have been in the original game (granted, this is NOT the case with Bioware, but is an industry standard for as good as everyone else), i''ve decided to stay away from it alltogether. An expansion pack is of course an entirely different thing :)
