I didnt see this topic yet or not even sure if it is supose to work this way.

I used the codes that came with my game purchas ( The stone Prisoner, Blood Dragon Armor) and as normal DLC goes this would unlock them to be used under all profiles on my 360 yet my roomie who has been playing it when im not went to do the STone Prisoner quest line to get shale and it is telling her she needs to Download the content?

So because this was used through the DA main menu is it not considered DLC and if so sadly I think that is a major design flaw to have it only on one profile.

Unfortunately that is just another way for EA to make sure they make as much money as possible and screw everyone else. Your best bet is to delete the content from your hard drive and then re-download the content through your download history and see if this makes a difference. If not I would just go ahead and wait till the GOTY edition comes out and then the content will be on a disc, unless they put a bunch more codes in it.

Your EA profile is linked to your XBOX profile, so any content that is download for this game can only be used on the one profile, that is how licensing agreements work.

Only with EA. If it is anything else it is still attached to the profile but also available on whichever console you download it to first. We have two Xbox 360's at my house, so anytime I download any content or game, I always download it on my Girlfriends Xbox then re-download it on mine, so she can play the games/content on her 360 without me being logged in. For me to play it on mine I just have to be logged into live. Once a year I also transfer all the licenses to her 360 in case I missed something and also so we have all the music for RB on hers. Her machine has the bigger HDD so its the music machine.

Okay was just trying to figure away for my roomie to enjoy the game as much as I we only have 1 360 and im the only one who plays over live ever so the stone prisoner can be fixed by purchasing the stone prisoner from the DLC section of xbox live im sure but they will miss out on the blood dragon armor sadly

no the ea account is just for DLC licensing agreements I believe other then to register your games that you have for them.

I don't see what the problem is - all my DLC is registered under my gamertag and EA account, and my wife has access to all of it under her gamertag. The armor, Warden's, Shale, and the Journeys items.



Just make sure that you have licensed each item properly on your account - some items are bundled together, so the licenses need to be acquired separately via a slight bit of trickery.

As stated by various people above, the DLC will be available to all profiles only for the specific console the content was downloaded to. This is part of the Xbox's copy protection system.



If you ever end up changing consoles or decide you want to move the license to a different Xbox, Microsoft has released a tool for doing so.

Because when using a different profile, I get Warden's Keep and SP, but the extra items I don't such as say the edge formari tomb etc

The issue was that I have multiple people who play on my xbox and only I have a live account and a EA account which I had to make when redeeming the codes that came with my game, my roomate who is also playing the game dose not have a live account or an EA account and after I put in the code for The stone prisoner DLC and downloading it she was unable to play it and on viewing her download list it wasnt listed. I than made her a live account and a EA account and still nothing. so I downloaded the stone prisoner from the xbox live market place ( yes i ended up paying for my free content ) than she had it no problems accessing the extra content.



Than I punched in my blood dragon armor code to make sure she didnt want it unde rher account ( she playing more melee chars than I do) and she said no i punched it in unde rmy account and when she went to play there it was on both our accounts ready to be used. so im not sure why if it had somthing to do with the accounts or what ever but its working thanks for suggestions and information from all who took the time to do so.

my issue, is

SP and WK (dlc) work fine.

account tied items like the edge don't

however embry's many pocket's work but amulet of the war mage does not
