A few months ago I started getting into 2000AD, been slowly making my through the first two volumes of Judge Dredd The Complete case files, the Alien crossover and recently picked up The Mek-nificent Seven (ABC Warriors), I really like the black and white artwork the older stuff, Ive also picked up Deadpool Invasion to see what its like.
I prefer getting the Graphic novels to collecting individual issues.
so what comics are you reading (have read) at the moment?

I started reading the Walking Dead. Brought the first compendium on iTunes and the rest separately. I can't wait for the next issue.
I'm not a comic book reader and this is my first comic.

I've currently been reading Daredevil, Hulk, and Captain America.
I heard that Superior Spider-Man is actually good but I have not bothered to pick it up yet.

Earth 2
Big fan of the JSA and the Golden Age comic characters and this re-invisioning of them seems quite promising. Also writers seem to have more freedom in books that take place in alternate dimensions compared to the main line books. The original Earth 2 stories from the Silver age onwards did this many times from allowing characters to grow old and retire to having families and even killing characters (and having them stay dead) so I'm hoping the reboot the writers have the same freedom.
