Posting humor on a forum like this is something that really should be done with some consideration. In normal social situations you can quite easily pick up how people react to you and adapt to it. On internet you never know who will read it, what they will think and will they even understand that you are being joking. You won't realize that until you get an angry reply. And saying "If dead baby jokes are too dark for you, then you probably shouldn't hang around me. Fair warning" about a post you made here is pretty close to saying that if you don't like my humor get off this thread, because nobody hung around you. You posted here. I wasn't offended myself, but a touch of consideration for others, at least if the thread isn't yours is never a bad thing.

Considering that it wasn't my dead baby joke to begin with and that I'm talking about not hanging around me in real life...

Whatever. I'll let people read more into my posts than is there if that's their prerogative.

In all seriousness, who? People on this forum? I'm pretty sure posting on this forum automatically disqualifies you from ever wielding political power of any kind. I don't think you can even get on a Homeowner's Assocation if they know you post here.

I don´t know if some of them are posting here, but I don´t know you (or anyone else here). How the f*ck should I know if you mean something serious or not if you don´t show it in some way? I mean, if I tell something like that to friends and family, everyone knows I´m only joking, because they know me, my political attitude and my kind of humour.

If you tell something like that in an internet forum you can´t be sure of that.

You can be just a guy with a nice dark humour.

I understand what you're saying, but I guess I would just suggest picking your battles not assuming too much. Now If I was sending messages like that on AIM to your 14 year old daughter, then you need to be worried about who I really am and what I'm up to.

Considering I'm trolling a gay-rights thread on a video game message board (which was honestly a troll thread to begin with I'm prety sure) you can probably safely assume I'm just an **** trying to say as many inflammatory things as possible. Which has the value-added benefit of being true!

That said, I do consider overpopulation to be a problem and I wish there was less of a puritanical backlash against abortions because frankly I think there are too many people being born, some of which OF COURSE, are unwanted children. I wouldn't elect to put myself in charge of deciding which babies live and which babies die (since i would obviously be biased by their various flavors) but I do hope that people who get pregnant that don't want to be continue to have the right to abort it.

You're totally missing my point. I really don't want to continue debating this because it goes against the retarded nature of this thread to have serious disucssions. But my point is, people that do that, don't openly talk and joke about it to people who will obviously think less than well of it. He got caught for having that stuff on his work PC, not for walking up to a female co-worker and telling her that her head would look better on the end of a stick in in his basement.

My twee netbook is charged up so I actually came back to see how long this had gotten.  I wasn't actually trolling, today (I try not to troll under this name although sometimes I can't help myself!).  Which is why I'm so surprised this thing is eighteen (maybe nineteen by the time I post this) pages!  It turns out pointing out uncomfortable at-least-half-truths is the way to get people to act completely insane as they froth to show how much they're not sexist by saying sexist stuff and talking about how much they can laugh at sexism.



It's true my main motivation for buying the game was to support the fact that it has homosexual relationships in it.  You can check my posts and see I alternately complain about it and occasionally defend it from people I think are complaining about it too much.

I want to see more games of this type, so I'm not deterred from buying the DLC just because I don't think it's riddled with both fantasy and social cliches.  I'm looking forward to RTO along with everybody else.  Hey, I can consume media and criticize media and recognize the flaws in media and still enjoy media.  (Despite popular hearsay I have a healthy sense of humor, too.)

I did finish up my card for sexist bingo, though!  Thanks for the help, guys.  I'll never have to watch a sexism thread explode without a game to play, again.
