I think Shepard will be rescued in this next DLC and he will finally get his happy ending.

You heard it here and now, we will be able to take control of a surviving team member or LI and find and rescue him and afterwards finally get our happy ending. I don't know how gameplay would necessarily be involved with this type of DLC but it could work. What could we fight tho???? But anyways I have a strange feeling it will indeed be this what else could it be??? We have to find Shepard!!!!!

ME1 Shepard arose from the debris victorious (Epic)

ME2 Shepard made an epic escape

ME3 Shepard, thought to have perished, will be found and rescued by his team his LI

sounds good to me.....

I like the idea it would be right and fitting and possibly they could give us a connector/teaser for Mass Effect 4

...How? He could have evaporated in Synthesis or transcended in Control.
I like Destroy, but I don't want it to be definitive canon.

Why should Destroy get its own post ending DLC?

Well of all the endings there is only where Shepard's breaths at the end and that is the destroy option with military assets of at least 5000, I think, so that would be the only place where it would work

Aw jeeze you guys ... this is just painful to see.

So many threads have been popping up speculating that this DLC will be what we've been waiting for.

I just don't see it. I hope I'm wrong because I think there needs to be post ending content. Leave the endings as is, that's fine. But ME3 deserves an epilogue.

However, I don't think it's going to happen.

Don't get your hopes up. It'll sting if this turns out to be some throwaway side mission.

The DLC could be something like playing as your squadmates exploreing the Citadel after the final choice was made (maybe fighting the few remaining Cerberuspeople who had gone to the Citadel with TIM). The DLC could end with them discovering Shepard's fate, with them finding him alive in high EMS destroy, finding his body in lower-EMS-Destroy, talk to Reaper-God-Shepard in control...

... no idea wtf would happen for synthetis though. Maybe they have a picnic in the some Reapers, a couple of magic elves and a unicorn in the enchanted rainbow forest; since that makes about as much sense as synthetis does.:wizard:

Fighting more Cerberuspeople? That's definitley something new and original.

If it gets my a reunion scene, I won't couldn't care less how new or original it is.

In post Destroy, we'd get a reunion with a broken and worn out soldier. In Control,we wouldn't even talk to Shepard.Just an AI dictator version of Shep.

EDI and the Geth will be heroes, martyrs and above all shining rolemodels for all future generations of synthetics and AIs.

I find it hard to believe Bioware would pull all the stops for this last DLC for it to be "track down an indoctrinated spectre on the citadel" or "unlock the secret of the keepers".

Bioware has a nasty new habit of letting me down tho.

It's a wonderful dream.

But I have no hope left
