I think Shepard will be rescued in this next DLC and he will finally get his happy ending.

In fairness that foliage is used during the dream sequences. It's just reused on Gilligan's Planet.

You're right about the chronological order of the high ems destroy ending being weird and disjointed though.

I hope so. But I deeply doubt it. Partly because both from a gameplay and narrative standpoint it'd be difficult to implement. Partly because BioWare will defend to the bitterest of bitter ends their decision to hit on nineteen. If they ended on "best seats in the house," and let the endgame play out depending on the choices you made throughout the game we wouldn't be in this mess. But no. They hit on nineteen. And people who hit on nineteen will never, ever admit they did anything wrong.

Either way, once this DLC hits, the forums will be set ablaze. For now we will just have to imagine the fire.

And it will be interesting, so it's a win in any case.

Everyone who wants to discuss the DLC in a civil manner will be drowned out by the very loud and obnoxious minority who hate on everything Bioware just because they can. It's very annoying to open a new thread and actually try to have a meaningful discussion, only to have it hijacked by trolls and then the thread gets closed as a result.

watch high ems destroy again shepard's love interest or another crew mate refuse to put is name up and shortly there after they look up to the sky and the normandy blasts off into space.........they are going to find him and THEN we have the breath scene.

Guys they are going to rescue Shepard, they know he is still on the Citadel.

Or could he still be on earth and all this is A DREAM????? mu muhahahahahahaaaaaaaa

just kidding but you get the point........the next and last dlc has to add something to the destroy ending, we don't need a new or changed ending they just need to add some more meat to destroy thats all then move on.

I follow you on that, its rather irritating that we can't discuss things on BSN without getting trash talked to.

i thought this is a one way, because whenever someone criticises the shallow, corny and inconsistant story, absolutely nobody pops up, to tell those people, that the story is flawless.

Good.  That's what they get for picking poopy endings that don't fit the game lore.

This exchange shows why Bio doesn't like revisiting the ending anymore.

yeah, i find it hard to believe that the people that thought the current ending (EC included) is an acceptable ending to the trilogy are going to come through on a character-focused, emotional, ending-relevant DLC. i'd like to be proven wrong, but like many others, i have very little hopes of that happening.

When it's been said SO MANY TIMES, that we WON'T see any more ending DLC, yes. I do find it kinda funny. People set themselves up for disappointment and expect everyone to feel sorry for them. But nah, I'll just laugh this time. Laugh my ass off.

Maybe that or maybe you are just an a-hole looking for an excuse to justify your behavior.

Not really. Not in this case at least. You can't deny what I'm saying. People being disappointed is in many cases their own damn fault, and we've reached a point where I just can't feel sorry for them anymore. It's funny.

I'm not denying anything, but at the same time I don't understand your attitude. If you can't help them, just leave them be. Don't post in this thread, or at least try to go easy.

You must know how downright villainous your posts sound. Make a joke or something, post a picture of Gandalf, whatever, just don't be an ass.

Oh come on, I have almost never experienced that and this forum is my substitute for 'social networking', I check in often.

Even if you get 'trolled', ignore it and carry on your meaningful discussions. A little fire never hurt anyone, unless doused with gasoline, or residing in a straw hut or something.

Agreed lol. Just take a glance back a few pages. I was seen as the "Villain" because I was merely laughing at how ridiculously absurd these requests for a post-ending DLC are. People keep hoping for it, even though Bioware has said countless times that it won't happen.....and then when it doesn't happen, all these people hoping for post-ending DLC will just come back here spewing venom and hate towards Bioware.

But you're a "bad guy" when you say "not gonna happen" and "I told you so" lol

that's a blatant LIE. Straight up. Or you are in severe denial.

Every thread here gets something about the ending or autodialogue or StarBrat or "Art!", regardless of what the topic of the thread is.

Hell, at the bottom of the OP of every thread I create I make it a point to say "please share your thoughts, and lets have a serious discussion. NO ENDING references". Do you think that helps?? Nope. Fails everytime
