Why should Destroy get its own post ending DLC?
The DLC could be something like playing as your squadmates exploreing the Citadel after the final choice was made (maybe fighting the few remaining Cerberuspeople who had gone to the Citadel with TIM). The DLC could end with them discovering Shepard's fate, with them finding him alive in high EMS destroy, finding his body in lower-EMS-Destroy, talk to Reaper-God-Shepard in control...
... no idea wtf would happen for synthetis though. Maybe they have a picnic in the some Reapers, a couple of magic elves and a unicorn in the enchanted rainbow forest; since that makes about as much sense as synthetis does.
If it gets my a reunion scene, I won't couldn't care less how new or original it is.
And this would be bad how?
I think Shepard will be rescued in this next DLC and he will finally get his happy ending.

This.
They have said over and over and OVER AND OVER that they are done with the endings. Chris Priestly said this just recently for who knows the how manyth time.

Shepard living the rest of his life knowing he killed off entire races of synthetics throughout the galaxy including his best friend's girlfriend.Really happy.
EDI and the Geth will be heroes, martyrs and above all shining rolemodels for all future generations of synthetics and AIs.
It's unfortunate that they used reaper code it really is and they will be mourned just as much as celebrated but keeping the reapers around in any way, shape or form should easily be understood and accepted as too big of a risk. If not for EDI and the Geth all civilized life forms would have been wiped out so Joker was never going to have a happy ending regardless so both Shep and Joker should be realtively ok. Shepard has already lost plenty so he's used to loss.

As unlikely as post-ending content is, there's absolutely no reason it couldn't be done. And done well.

Because with the other endings you know what happened to Shepard and people who picked those as their main endings got their closure in regards to their Shepard. People who picked Destroy got the inconclusive and weak breathe scene. Also keep in mind one reason a lot of people picked Destroy is it gives Shepard a chance to live. Of course the main reason to pick destroy is the fact that the reapers are an abominatin that need to be elminated.
Also from a numbers stand point Destroy is most likely the most popular ending by a wide margin so in terms of generating interest for DLC sale numbers destroy would be Mass Effects very own "COD crowd."

Those 176 votes don't even make up a large percentage of forum goers.
I'm not saying your opinion is invalid but the statistics you are using simply can't support your argument.

The next DLC sounds big, but it will probably be another action filled mission like Omega.

It would be about as anti-climactic as you can get. I wouldn't hate an extension to the breathe scene where he stands up out of the rubble (I wouldn't mind it, but I don't need it. And its not going to happen so its whatever. I know what the scene signifies, so I'm satisfied)
The idea of a playable post ending dlc though? It's ridiculous. One of the worst fairytale wishes I've seen on these boards. And to find someone that actually believes it'd even work....baffling. Oh, but ofcourse anything for a precious reunion

If we're setting ourselves up for disappointment then BioWare are setting themselves up for a catastrophe. It really is just that simple....we do NOT need BioWare but BioWare absolutely needs us. Every single fan counts....every happy fan has dozens or hundreds of friends s/he reaches either in person or through social media and a pissed off fan at best won't say anything and at worst will prevent freinds from buying a game. Most of the sales are not from the core fans or forumites but the casual players who don't know or give a damn about BioWare....to them it's should I buy game A, B, C or D and friend reference has an impact and this is where goodwill and happy core fans really come in. Plenty seem happy on the forums because that's all that's left....BioWare with the EC have successfully made people shut up and go away and forget about BioWare....then from what was left even more people were literally driven off by people like Chris Priestly who made it very clear that anyone who still has any negative feeling toward the game is NOT wanted and should go away.
I stick around because I've been around long enough to know that Chris just lies A LOT, especially about things BioWare will/will not do next....if he says one thing more often than not the exact opposite is true. This has been going on since 07 before the first ME game released.
In the end the success of ME4 will be largely impacted by how people feel about ME3 and the EC was largely a failure in making people like the game any better mostly because BioWare ignored all the real problems and most just lost hope and went away.
After TOR crashed and burned and ME3 saw its sales come to a near screeching halt prematurely as its price dropped signifficantly within less than 30 days after release I am sure BioWare will be really happy with the reception of ME4 should the majority still be upset.

Haha... Kinda agree...
These days I'd much rather leave me3 behind on a happy note than... What I feel for current endings.
EDIT: No I don't expect it. Even if it did happen I wouldn't expect it to remove the catalyst but thats why, again, I'd rather leave the games behind disappointed but smiling than disappointed and sad.
