I think Shepard will be rescued in this next DLC and he will finally get his happy ending.

We have aid numerous times now, we have "ended the endings". While there is more DLC for both Single and Multiplayer still to come, there is no more "endings" DLC.

How many times do people need to be reminded of this? It should be a ****ing sticky. Make it happen, moderator! Image IPB

But Bioware refuse to precisely define what they mean by "endings". Is the Stargazer scene, 50,000 years in the future, the "ending"? Also an expansion pack type dlc needn't change the ending (by which I mean the pre-credits scenes) at all, it could merely carry on from where they left off.

1) BioWare says a lot of things that end up not being true
2) Maybe there are no new endings, but that doesn't mean you can't expand more on current endings.

I might have believed these kinds of statements 5 years ago, but the company likes to surprise us - which is fine, it just means I don't believe anything it says until I see it :).

My Shepard was disintegrated and uploaded to an over-sized space station. How would that scenario be handled in a DLC focused on rescue?

Right, but the constant so far has been disappointment. That which you hope they will do, they will not.

Here have really stupid people you tell them there is no more endings they again if this DLC will be the ending

Everyone knows what's being said....the problem is just how manny times BioWare have played this farce before over the past five years since before ME1 released. The issue is that they do not say anything truthful or meaningful over half the time so their word is completely worthless. All the way back to absolute statements that "Tali will never be an LI", "Shepard will not be the player character in ME2", "Legion will not be a party member", "The ending of ME3 is it, there will be nothing to alter it or add to it in any way" among MANY other such wild arguments from them. Not to metion other blatant lies like all the ones they told about the ending before the game release and on and on and on.

It doesn't matter what BioWare say because their word is worthless and more often than not has no relation to what they actually end up doing. Chris Priestly is the front liar and the one that made the case for most of those blatant lies on the forums.....as for Jessica.....well.....let's just say that she argued the site of the Normandy's crash in the ME3 ending could be Earth....nevermind the two huge moons in the sky. That and like Priestly she is not a developer.

As I said....the reason the ME3 ending was crap was because it was changed at the last minute due to the script and ending they were working on being leaked.....leaked like everything else since. If they intended to do it right they would make damn sure it doesn't leak again. So is it possible this last DLC is ending related....yes VERY possible. Am I stupid for ignoring what BioWare says....no.....the original ending proved 100% the stupid thing to do is to actually believe a single word they ever say.

How can you tell if BioWare is lying? They're talking.

Mass Effect as a franchise has been completely ruined for me so I don't really care too much anymore. I'd certainly like to see Bioware fix this mess, but if not, I'll spend my money elsewhere. I don't expect them to fix anything though, it's already been made clear what's more important to them. They're more worried about their image in the big gaming media rather than their image among the core fans that actually care about the universe, the characters and the story in their games. The latter has been turned into a joke. It's disheartening to see, but if that's what Bioware really wants for Mass Effect, then it's ultimately their choice.

That's just trying to find loopholes in the definition of "ending" and what they said - it's just twisting words. I'd love it if you were right but you really, really shouldn't be getting your hopes up.

I see some people in here still haven't gotten over the fact that the endings we have are final. I wonder what their reaction will be once the DLC is revealed to be something irrelevant to the endings.

Just keep telling yourself that, and ignore the pyramids visible in the distance.

That's probably the peak of the insults in this thread. Calling them liars helps nobody. If you have no trust in the company then voicing your opinion is simply not constructive. Move along.

Maybe the DLC will be an expanded Priority: Earth, ending at the run to the beam where the EC kicks in. That'd be nice. While not ending related, it would still be something that a majority of people would be interested in.

THIS^^^

This isexactly my stance on the issue. Either they fix it or they will never see another dime from me....plenty others have said the same thing too. There won't be any great dissapointment here.....I've got other games and developers that have not yet dissapointed me and are fully worth frollowing.

See, this is what I don't understand. If Bioware ruined the franchise for you, why do you even bother posting on this board? "I hate, but I'm sticking around to tell you how much I hate it every chance I get!"

It just seems like a waste of time. Image IPB

Bwahahahahaha.....

Can't tell if serious or joking....oh wait you've been around for a little over two weeks and still think they have integrity. :D

The BioWare lies bit isn't even so much an argument and isult.....more like a fact. I've been on their forums since before ME1 and long before the BSN existed. I've seen them lie plenty....it's not even something you can deny. It's all on video and in print.

Well, that makes one of us.

Don't get your hopes up. Expect something emotional, and expect a good send off for the series. Don't expect ending related content.

Yeah, that seems to be the most popular excuse around here. For people who claim they're only here to chat with friends, you all seem to find these Mass Effect threads often enough. And then you somehow manage to suddenly care enough about it again to tell us all how much you hate it, as if we didn't know already.

You guys are full of ****. If you didn't care about it anymore you wouldn't be in this topic.
