I think Shepard will be rescued in this next DLC and he will finally get his happy ending.

Yeah, that seems to be the most popular excuse around here. For people who claim they're only here to chat with friends, you all seem to find these Mass Effect threads often enough. And then you somehow manage to suddenly care enough about it again to tell us all how much you hate it, as if we didn't know already.

You guys are full of ****. If you didn't care about it anymore you wouldn't be in this topic.

Why are You even on this topic other than to b*tch about people not "caring"? People like you somehow manage to pop up in every... EVERY... this kind of topic and start yapping "why are you here" comments. Talk about worthless people.

On topic:
If they somehow managed to unf**k the endings, I'd gladly buy it. But right now, I struggle to get over the fact that I bought ME 3 CE.

There isn't much to discuss. Bioware already confirmed that there would be no more DLC related to the endings. And the people who say this new DLC will "save Mass Effect for them" are either lying or fooling themselves. I'm sure it will be a great DLC on it's own, but I doubt it's going to change anyone's minds on the vanilla game. If the Extended Cut didn't do it for you, nothing else will. That's all you're getting.

There is room between the extremes of "I like all mass effect related" to "I hate all mass effect related" for... eg. in my case: I love most of mass effect related but not xyz. If xyz was different I'd like mass effect even more.

And being sure that the next dlc is great is the same as stating tomorrows weather will be great with at most looking out the window but not listening to the weather report. Based on hopefullness rather than fact.

I hope it's a good dlc though.

I hope it does. Call me a fool all you want.
Bioware are liars, and you trusting everything they say is cute, but just as foolish as us hoping for a better ending.

I like to think there's a greater purpose to the trippy and surreal endings we got. I've played numerous Bioware games, and I've never known them to screw up like this ever. But I have seen them mind screw the player in just about every game they've made.

I think most would say the same. But there are a lot of folks on here who are just bitter and only return to this board everyday to bash Bioware and let everyone know how "they're done with Mass Effect". We get it. Move on and find something you actually like.

Other than being too short and having reused maps, I thought DA2 was fine.

If DA2 bashing is what you want to do, we can meet up in the DA2 forum later today.

Meanwhile, back at the topic. Did anyone happen to find it odd that the decision chamber looks an awful lot like a dialogue wheel? Why would the final choices be colored renegade red and paragon blue? Nobody in the ME universe knows those colors represent moral decisions. So why?

you can also say that about ME1, I think the same contractor designed all the enemy and merc bases in the galaxy, becuase they all have the same layout,a single floor, with a elevated hallway leading up to the top floor with a room, the only thing thats different is what is in that back room

and also shutting things down by shooting them, the luna base mission is the most boring mission in any video game in history, go to building a shoot Drones and 8 AI ports, repeat 2 times, good lord, is this PS1, what happened to pushing a button to shut a computer down

pretty bad for a game made in 2009

Have they fixed the journal yet, No matter what dlc it is, it will be a pain because of the journal...

In all seriousness i would play ME3 again if it is the case, But this is bioware who don't give fans what they want....Hub worlds? No, New squadmates? No, Collectors? No, Harbinger? No, Ending dlc? .....

What possibly could make u feel like crying pre-ending, More liara on screen in this dlc would make me cry i suppose but we all know it will be 1200mp, 2hrs40mins,pew pew.

I just hope people dont buy blindly and wait for leaks/walkthrough's.

I'm with you.  I would not only play it again (even with the horrible/multiple plot holes associated
with the ending), but, would buy the DLC as well as the game(sold ME3 immediately after I Platinum-ed it).

Purchased ME1 (PC) , ME2 (PC and PS3) and purchased all DLC associated with each followed by multiple playthroughs. With joy I might add!

Purchased ME3 (PS3) played ..watched the ending and then sat on my couch in emptiness..  Proceeded to play for the PS3 Plat and have never played it again.

This thread makes me sad.

"Hey Shep! We saved you from doing something stupid like ushering in a new age of peace and enlightenment for everyone who wanted in on it! The reapers are still trying to harvest us, but you appreciate it, right?"
"God damn it, people!"
"Happy endings, Shepard!"
"DAMN IT."

I hate the word "fan". It implies a somewhat blind enthusiasm for something.

No, I don't like stuff because it's bioware or mass effect.

I respect bioware for being good enough to make a good game. Thats all there is to it.

So I guess I'm not a fan... More like a...  (somewhat) Happy customer.
