For some reason, I didn't receive the gift from Morrigan this time. I wanted to know if it's too late or if I could go back somehow by lowering her approval and raising it back up.
Anyway, I've already slept with her and then kind of broke it off after she said she didn't want to get too attached or whatever. So now whenever I talk to her, she calls me her friend. I've used up all of the dialogue options with her and have already defeated Flemeth. The only dialogue option now is "why are you still here?".
But it's a little odd, since whenever I talked to her with other characters and her approval rose through the dialogue choices and gifts, she would eventually give me her ring. But for some reason, she never gave it to me this time even though I thought I was doing the same things I always did.
Is there a reason why? And is there a way to somehow get it now by lowering her approval?
Is it too late to get the ring from Morrigan?

If you broke it off with her she won't give it to you. You have to be in a romance with her if I'm not mistaken. You might have to go back to before you broke it off with her and be persistent.

Have you gave her the Mirror? I believe she only gives you the ring once you have got her the mirror as a gift. Her next diagloe should open up like this

Morrgian: I have never reciveded something without a price attached. Thank you.
Then this is where she gives you the ring
Morrgian: I have something for you

Morrgian; Tis a ring my mother gave me when I was a child so she could find me if I was ever captured. I turned off it's power when we left the wilds, though I reactived it so I can have you.
PC: Thank you, thats sweet
Morrgian: Tis not given out of (forgot word), you are too important to lose

She gave me that ring, yet I wonder why it is important. The rings I wear are so much better. Should I do something with it?

It's sort of a gift/way to track you down.
