 I have no idea how I managed it, I've been choosing all the positive dialogue options for Kaidan and he was responding to them. I get back from the Noveria mission - and nothing. He has no dialogue options other than the standard ones?! Does anyone have any idea what I did wrong? The same thing happened with Liara?!

Edit: forgot to mention this is ME1 and I haven't had any romance dialogue since after Feros. I'm in the middle of the Virmire mission. Have I messed it up for good or will he come back to me once I've saved him?

The last conversation I had with him was about killing his instructor in Brain Camp. I'm worried I messed it up because I was trying to trigger the jealousy scene. Now I have no romance at all (not even desperate blue Alien chick) sad times

This just happened to me. I realized it when I got dialogue about Asari mating. Ugh. I scrapped 8 hours of gameplay just to get back to an earlier save where Kaidan was still the main romance. Out of curiosity, did this happen on the PS3? I was also trying to trigger the jealousy scene but got ninja'd by Liara instead. Perhaps something is glitched or they changed that scene for the PS3? I chose the same options I've chosen previously on the PC for that scene and got it no problem

It's just a tricky scene to get. Got it on my first game on the PC by complete stroke of luck, and don't think I've ever got it since. I think probably the dialogue choices that allow it or prevent it stretch right back to the beginning of the game.

Thanks PsiFive, I didn't realize it was so difficult to get, since I'd gotten it with all my Sheps on the PC. I must play that part exactly the same every time.

My second Femshep fouled up her chances with Kaiden through her tough girl attitude (when Kaiden expressed his concern over how things were going with the council)
