The upcoming ME3 DLC won't be post-ending

Think about it, if BioWare would release post-ending DLC, we would all be FORCED to play through Cronos Station, Priority: Earth, the beam run, the Citadel and the ending, ALL OVER AGAIN, just so we can finally play the DLC. That doesn't make sense and it would suck. I for one do not feel like doing all that all over again just to play a new DLC. This is the reason why I believe the upcoming DLC will not be post-ending.
Besides, BioWare said they're done with the endings. There won't be any more DLC that will change, add to, expand on, or continue after the endings.

Actually, there's an auto-save / "restart mission" point right after Shep's hit by the beam.
"Citadel: The Return".
When was that added? With the EC or something?
I don't remember seeing any auto-save past the Cronos Station assault. I had to play through the entire friggin' Cronos Station, Priority: Earth and Citadel again just to see the Extended Cut ending.
I really don't want to do that AGAIN. Priority: Earth sucks in every single way (gameplay, aesthetics and the level-design too).

We was always furthering the legend that isn't shepard pre-ending not post, I'm more confused as to what shepards " one " more story meant as dlc for ME3 really is pointless standalone mission crap.

You shouldn't, if that were the case. It's been months since I've played, but I distinctly remember the option being there with the vanilla game.

Oh I wouldn't mind either. I would love it in fact.
But I do not try to fool myself in to thinking that there will be.

"Chapter"-save of The Return has indeed always been there, and is still accessible even after the end-game popup, prior to starting any earlier mission.
Although yes, that particular "little" bit is quite...sluggish, and may just as well be cinematics-only.

There is just no point to play something before ending considering, you know how it will end. Look at Arrival or Shadow Broker DLC's. Both of them take place after the ending and are very well done.
And yes i know you can play both before suicide mission, i even tryed it. But the way dialogue and plot is made, makes me pretty sure they take place after SM. Especially arrival cause otherwise Collectors plot would serve no purpose. So yes i would prefer post- ending since Bioware only said they won't change endings and nothing about post ending story. However we will probably recieve another pointless pre-ending mission which will have no effect on ending.
Either way i won't get my hopes up.

The Collector plot doesn't serve a purpose regardless of when you play Arrival.

Don't get me wrong, i would love nothing more than post-ending dlc, as i never did a 2nd playthrough of ME3( was unhappy with the game let alone ending), Post ending dlc would make me forget all the trivial stuff i would look past. But i'm also not delusional and bioware have stated things enough times so i'm happy to not buy they're dlc.crimzontearz wrote...

I would rather see post-ending DLC then another mediocre content we recieved with Leviatan and Omega.

Why does shepard say that when his mission is done, he'll turn himself in when you complete arrival after destroying the collector base? His mission is already done, so what gives?
Or, did he lie to hacketts face so he wouldn't need to go back to earth to face charges?

ME3 does not make a post-ending save as far as I know. Even if it does, we cannot continue playing ME3 after the endings (because Shepard is dead in most endings, obviously). When we load our last save-file, we'll be brought back to the moment right before the attack on Cronos Station.

DAO is set up the same way and still managed to make three postgame DLCs.
But it's true, it's highly unlikely that this next DLC will be postgame.

At least when it comes to making a browser for iOS that is compatible with this forum. (And many other).
They rely too much on their damn apps.
