Does anyone know of a workaround/fix for this issue?  After I downloaded the latest patch I can't change the name of my dog.   The option doesn't show up at all and it really stinks cause it takes some of the realism out of the game for me.  Pet lover here, and I would never just name my dog DOG, Warhound maybe , but not
DOG.

There have been some reports of a conflict between a respec mod and being able to name a dog for the Human Noble origin.



If you are comfortable messing around in the toolset you can rename him that way. http://social.biowar.../9/index/433366

hello !



mods like no auto-levelling up for party members generate this problem because ( for me, and i have several mods installed ) they modify the file "player-core.nss" (.ncs when compiled). If you want to rename your dog and have this file in your override directory, save before entering the larder where the dog is, exit the game, put away the file, launch, load and do the dog scene, re-save , exit and re-put the file in override directory. I do that way and it'll work everytime i do it.

no that box doesn't pop up at all anymore...it's happened to my human noble and my elf mage now...
