So, in the run up to the DAO release, Bioware made a FAQ which went into a lot of detail on game, which you can find here. The DAO website in general contained a great deal of information about the game, the characters we would meet and the locations we would visit. All in all, I had a pretty thorough idea of the type of game I'd be getting.

Whilst the DA2 site had the world and creature information, it didn't have anything like the detailed FAQ on game mechanics that DAO did.

Right now most of us are basically in the dark as to what kind of game DA3 is going to be, and which of its predecessors it's going to be closest to.

I would personally appreciate it if something similar to that FAQ could be made for DA3 at some point before we are allowed to pre-order, which takes an in depth look at game mechanics. Especially focussing on the differences in key mechanics such as combat and dialogue from what we have seen in DAO and DA2.

You'd probably be best served by checking out the Stickied Twitter thread. The (very) little we have been told so far has been told or confirmed via Twitter (as much as that dismays me to say).

The first page has a pretty decent summary, along with links. Another thread doing the same thing would probably be redundant until we start getting more detailed information from a source OTHER than Twitter.
