I am trying to update me EA/Origin/BioWare Social email address from the one I no longer use to my new email address. I read another post about this, from top to bottom, and followed the suggestions, to no avail.

Here is what I did: Went to EA website, Accessed my account (EA Account Manager), Clicked on 'Update Info' button, and the only options I was given was to update my Country and Language. 
This is not what I want to update! I only need to update my email address!

When I tried to contact EA through the email option, I was required to log in, no problem, right? Wrong! I typed in my email address and password exactly the way they are and was given this message: "Unable to redirect to required source.[/b]"
Why on Earth am I required to jump through a thousand flaming hoops, just to update my f**king email address! This seems complete unnecessary and absurd! Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Okay, it would appear that, for 'security reasons,' the only way to update your email address for Origin (well, that's one thing I want to do it for!) is to contact support. Of course this is no easy task either. On EA's website they say that you have to send an email, but upon attempting to on realizes that the email option does not exist and they only option is to either refer to the community (which won't work) or to enter Live Chat with an 'EA adviser'. Okay, I'll give that a shot. So I click on that option and the Chat box pops up. It tells me that I have a wait time of less that 5 minutes. Awesome, no biggie. I return to this forum post to say that I don't need anymore help, I have it all figured out. Midway through typing this message, I wanted to make sure I didn't enter the chat and wasn't there, so I return to the Chat box only to find that my wait time jumped from less than 5 minutes to a whopping 90-95 f**king minutes!! This is ridiculous! Why can't I just change my god damned email address like any other f**king website! I am about to lose my f**king mind!!!

i think it'll be much easier to ask them to delete your account alltogether than to deal with their incompetence
