This question just popped into my brain because I just finished this part. At the beginning of Horizon either Kaiden or Ashley get stung in the open but the Collectors seemingly ignore them and take Lillith who isn't that far away. This results, of course, in a confrontation between Shep and Ashley/Kaiden. Why would the Collectors pass on Ashley/Kaiden? Furthermore, exactly how long does the paralysis last because Ashley/Kaiden are trotting out to see you as if nothing happened? No side effects, not a bit wobbly? I found that part kind of strange.
