 How much mature content will be in the game. I dont mind romance options, and the like. But I am not big on the nudity, such as the desire demons. Please also dont put in nudity that you have to see. I would like if I could play the game with out seeing whole bunch of explicit content if I play my guy as an honest good guy.

I have small kids so I don't play mature games around them. I usually go for Zelda and Pokemon if I want to keep the gaming family friendly. It isn't just the nude demons that can cause a problem. A lot of children can get scared with Broodmothers and other scary demons, let alone the blood and the hack and slash is hardly appropriate for them.

I'm sure BioWare is seriously considering how much mature content such as nudity, swearing, etc. they should put into it. However, I don't think they're going to change the desire demons' design, purely because a few people do not want to see nudity.

I am all for explicit content, in both romance options and story. I suspect, since that story Gaider told about how one of his male writers wrote something that some female writers felt came off as more like rape, BioWare intends to make DA3 darker and/or more adult.

DA:O and DAII are both rated as MA 15+, so it would make sense if DA3 was more mature.

It sounds as though you'd prefer to play a game with a wholesome family fun kind of vibe. Dragon Age was never supposed to be suitable for younger players.

I really hope they give us two options that allow us to choose between seeing nudity and hearing swear words, through the whole game, and replacing nudity with undergarments and replacing swears with softer versions (such as the word bullsh!t being replaced with bull or bullcrap).

This option thing could pop up in character creation right before or just after choosing the game difficulty.

The option exists, it is called game rating.

And the rating system is a lot more comprehensive than just "does it have any nudity ?', it also looks at swaring, violence, story, etc.. If you truly want something appropriate for family viewing I suggest you use the game ratings and only buy / play the class appropriate for you and your family.

But yes, it makes no sense and in cases like the Desire Demon, I think nudity should be used(in moderation or were it "fits"), I just don't think that Bioware(or rather, EA) would do it/be for it

You know it really worries me when Americans think it is perfectly fine to have a person beheaded in a game (DA2) or raped (DAO city elf ) but then complain about naked npc.

I think you are mistaking showing nudity for "maturity." If you are asking if Bioware will enter the realm of softcore porn, the answer is no, I don't expect them to go the route of God of War/Witcher and include nudity or more sex than a "fade to black" screen. Despite dealing with murder, crime, corruption, rape and brutal gore, they will go the standard North American route of allowing all of this, but will find It deplorable to display two characters having sex.

Not that I disagree but who is beheaded in DA2? I honestly can't remember.

Also, honest good guys see those things too. My evil Warden doesn't live in a world with more promiscuous desire demons than my good Warden.

Agreed. I never understood why blood and gore is somehow not as bad as seeing a naked person.

They got that hit in DAO when the culmination of a romance sub-plot resulted in a near-naked wrestling match.

I beleive it can be made without nudity as long as they are not afraid of using a bit more time and money on developing the final scenes so what we see doesn't look like it did in DAO.

And please, I don't get why it's so hard to implement bed sheets.. The "talk" scene after hawke romances Merrill looks a little odd and would feel more real if the bed was a little messy and they were under the sheet.

And no, fade to blacks is a boring excuse.

Sometimes wish bioware not only catered to the American code of morals.. ^^

This is the main reason why there needs to be nudity. Using Merrill as an example, why would she be only half-naked, if she just had sex with Hawke. Who puts underwear on after sex, but nothing else?

Anyway, I find it appalling hypocrisy that people will say X is "inappropriate" for children but they still somehow think it's appropriate for themselves.  If you think it's bad, you shouldn't be viewing it either.  And if it's not bad, what's the problem?  Yeah, sensitive children might freak out.  They'll do that when you refuse to give them ice cream or insist that they take a nap.  If they're not traumatized by naptime, purple boobs won't do the trick, either.

Okay I didnt mean that good guys cant see nudes, I mean If I playing a good honest guy my guy shouldnt have to do quests that deal with going into a brothel, or things like that. I am actually fifteen and just trying to do my best and make sure the things I am playing are clean, relating to the sexual content. And you know demons dont need to show there nipples to make sure everyone knows that there desire demons. Desire demons are known to seduce mortals, but they also play on other desires. Hey I am not trying to offend anyone I am jsut asking questions. 

Relating to the options for more explicit content or less explicit, I really like that Idea, and that way bioware can apeal to a wider audience. 
I personally dont think the violence in the da games are bad at all. There defintely is a difference between choppings some ones head off, and watching porn.
