What you are (for whatever reason) trying to destroy here (pun intended) is btw the best video game second I ever had.

I'm not saying that though, I'm merely asking what ways Shepard getting completely vaporized in Destroy can be explained.

What about the Shepards who didn't make Jack more paragon? Some of us encouraged her on Pragia and had her kill Ahresh.

And you can't just hand wave a point I made. I raised a point about Thane and his character consistency, you can't ignore it.

No, you aren't. You're asking how he can have a breath scene considering, in your false statement, that Shepard was completely vaporized. No one other than you made that assumption.

OP, you do realize that all of those explosions and effects were placed for cinematic effect? They aren't meant to be viewed from different angles.

I didn't ignore the Thane point, but I've never romanced him.

It isn't though.
You see Shepard shooting the tube, and then the tube explodes. When the tube explodes, you can still clearly see Shepard look as if he is diving/falling with his back turned to the explosion. Then it zooms out and you can sort of see the explosions dying down but visibility is still clouded by the smoke, so of course you can't see Shepard.

And like others have said, a small explosion like that cannot instantly vaporise Shepard unless the tube was actually an atomic bomb.

I'm afraid outside of Udina as councilor and keeping Collector base the Renegade "path" is a non-canon tacked on troll mode for more killing and explosions.

I'm talking specifically about the one scorch mark on the floor where Shepard was, just like where Nyreen was. And it's visible without flycam, for the 37 millionth time.

So did Jacob himself but I'm not one to jump straight to "cheating douchebag" as there are various ways one can be bad at relationships.

I didn't think he was a douchebag for doing what he did. The "romance" in ME2 looked and felt like a fling anyway.

To be fair the Rachni plot in 3 just sucks ass period. For the Paragons th Queen turns into Princess Peach and they never get to see those previously mentioned soldiers, brood warriors and ships(not even as "war assets").

The Rachni plot is general is a good example of how the whole hyped import mechanic turned out to be a great dud.

That was a weaker moment (only if you killed her), but it's also been acknowledged by Bioware as something they wanted to do differently. Since they owned up to it, I don't mind.

They all did. They failed to convince me that a handful of brief convos and a one minute "love scene" is "twu wub".
