what I always enjoyed about ME was the structure and detail of the milky way and all the star clusters. Apart from having just recently discovered that a great many of the clusters & nebulas are in fact "real" (at least their names), I was always amazed how much detail was put into describing every single gas giant, so I always read all the descriptions of every planet.
That being said, now that everything ran it's course, it's interesting to re-play the trilogy and notice all the implications that can be found towards (then) future developements of the plot.
So my idea was of collecting those, hop on ol' Normandy and see for yourself:
Mass Effect Scavenger Hunt
In short: You notice planets with interesting background info that might not be too widely known, collect their locations, and post them here with maybe some hint to its meaning. (Please use quote-tags, makes for a better read)
The first one that caught my attention, since to me it implied that the whole Leviathan plot was still hailing from the Karpyshyn-era, was:
FARCROTHU (Han system | Gemini Sigma cluster)
Speaking of mind-controlled minions.
MAJI (Vamshi system | Armstrong nebula)
The skeletal remains of an "unknown ancient species" are located in the south. Look at it from the hill nearby and see what that looks like.
Anybody got some more?
