Mm. Another XXXXX for LI thread.

I would only accept her as a companion if they also added Velanna too. Because they both disappear according to the epilogue (we need the epilogues in DA:O and DA:A back, BTW). Siggy goes into the Deep Roads, and Vels runs off to find Seranni (her sister), possibly into the Deep Roads too.

I never liked Sigrun more than any other companion (other than maybe Dog), but Velanna is one of my favourite companions (after Morrigan and before Isabela).

If she will return, I suspect that it will be during a level which takes place in the Deep Roads...probably with Oghren, too, considering both are now Grey Wardens. I don't hold much hope for her as a permanent companion or love interest.

It is a shame, considering how her personality, backstory, and the skillfull voice actress made her one of my favorite characters.

You seem to like the shadier characters...the smug, the hateful, and the selfish female companions with redeemable qualities.

I always imagine her to be with Oghren. She's one of my favorite characters from Awakening, so I don't mind her being back.

She is a way, way better character than Cullen. Or Tallis.

But I doubt she cares much about the Inquisition or the Inquisitor.

I am pretty sure there will be no female dwarf companion, even less so a Sigurn, who can be already dead.

I wouldn't mind if Sigrun made an appearance. I like her, but for most of my playthroughs I assume she went to the Deep Roads to die. Only in my last run through Awakening did I get the epilogue where she stays around.

Resurrecting this thread to say that I totally wanted to romance Sigrun in DA:A, and she's my second favourite character in the entire franchise. I would love to see her as a companion and LI in DA:I.

LI had been decided already, so it's just speculation at this point on who those LIs are.

I will give you the fact she was definately a pretty cool character. Personally for me though there wasn't enough time to develop anything towards her as an LI. Even if there was, she seemed pretty dead set on what came with her duty as being part of the Legion of the Dead.

Sigrun was the most effective rogue I've ever seen in game, barring my PC. She not only kicked buttocks, but survived doing so, and did it with a vast perkiness. Worst thing about Awakenings is it didn't have enough Sigrun dialogue. But, I'd just as soon she not be in any future games. She went back to the dark roads to fulfill her destiny, and I hope Bioware lets her rest in peace.

This. Reduces the chance of character rewrites and f... ups that way as well.

Even though I did like Sigrun a lot in Awakening.

Yeah she was definitely an interesting companion and my favorite in Awakening. Would love to see her return in some form. Would be an awesome choice for a LI.

There is a possibility that she never leaves for the Deep Roads,

You have to do her companion quest, then get her approval to 76 or above. A dialogue will initiate, choose the option that says you don't want lose a friend. If you do this and kill the Architect, Sigrun stays with the Wardens till the end.

Also, if you do the same with Velanna and kill the Architect, Velanna stays angry with the Warden, but never leaves the order.
