If you choose to Sacrifice yourself, at the end of the game, and you die... Are you forced to create a Warden Commander from Orlais, or will you still be able to Import your "dead" toon?
A question pertaining to Awakening Expansion.

You will be forced to create a Warden commander.
The expansion is a continue to the story, so if your character died, it would be freaky if you were alive
So therefore you get to create a Warden Commander.

I may even attempt to be evil this time; I'm really no good at it. I always tell my wife, "I'm going to be evil, make evil choices, roll heads, and become an overbearing dictator!" She just smiles and lets me know she's there when I start pouring my guts out at how badly I felt when I used picklocking to take a starving families Health Poultice.

Keep in mind that NONE of us have played so we don't know FOR SURE, however it is HIGHLY likely that if you import the dead toon's save, then yeah he'll be dead.
If you have a save prior to the Archdemon, load it and beat him another way and save that one.

I would have said that too, if it wasn't because I had read an inteview from Gamespot about the expansion pack, one of the people who have made the expansion pack, said that you would have to create a new Warden commander if you had chosen your character to die in the Dragon Age Origin.Ryngard wrote...

Remember the choices you have made will still mean something. So do import in any case : )

Well, I decided on a Rogue again, I love the dual blade finishing moves.
