Meh... I played the demo of it I'm honestly not impressed. Feels like a step back from the second one.

Its less suspensfull from the first and has become more of a guns guns guns. But I think the new "make your own weapon" table is a cool new feature.

Sounds like it's actually a good thing. In Dead Space 1 - the Necromorphs were an unknown, freakish entity, and fast-forward to the third and they're just another enemy, so less scary more shooty.

Wait what? I'm confused by this post. It sounds like they took a cool enemy from the first game and turned them into mooks.

Reflecting what would happen in the real world. At least in feel. The Necromorphs themselves haven't changed a jot - they've just lost their element of surprise that made them a terror.

I prefer the suspenseful.  I did not play the original Dead Space but I loved Dead Space 2.  I really hope the game has not become just another gun spam fest.

It has. It is even co-op now and has a cover based system against human soldier enemies. At least the demo wasn't scary or suspensful at all. Not even the quick time events felt suspensful.

Does this mean we might get Dead space armour for ME3 MP with next DLC.

Please say it will be so :)

Bleh.  I'll see if I can find some hands on reviews of the full game. I'm really not interested in buying just another shooter.

When the first Dead Space came out I actually pre-ordered the Ultra Limited Edition and they only made 1,000 of those. The only way to get it was from the game website itself and it was totally worth it!

If you try and buy it now, you are gonna spend way more then what you paid for it when it first released.

When it first released it was $150, when you try to buy it now.

Both DS and DS2 are awesome in their own right. DS2 had more of an emphasis on action, but there are plenty of suspenseful parts. Hardcore mode was pretty tough too.

I was wondering which platform to get DS3 on but guess it would have to be PC now thanks to this small promotion :P Would also love it if we could have an armour set inspired by Isaac's R.I.G. for Shepard.

we get N7 armor in Deadspace 3, which to me will be an awesome upgrade from the boring looking armor in DS

Kinda looks like Dead Space armour with ME3 / N7 paint job, not ME3 armour.
I was hoping for Destroyer T5-V Battlesuit, with hawk missiles...

They're an intersting, yet somewhat awkard tool for the delivery of the real horror, the writing. It's terrifying to not know whether you were sane or not in DS1, and it took a whole new level in 2. Nicole (at least on PC) was the single scariest thing in the game. Things get a little more interesting in 3, as your dealing with a hive mind right off the bat. Where do you go from there? Carver's interesting too as he's clearly suffering from the same delerium.

Since I never played any of the Dead Space games and pre-ordered Dead Space 3 should I get the first two as well?

If you play on PC, GameFly has a PC Download deal on both Dead Space 1 and 2 for $7.99.

I'd love to see a new Batarian character rocking the Dead armor. I mean it makes sense. The helmet has 2 lights, and Batarians have 2 sets of eyes.

oh I can't wait I got early access to the xbox demo and I can't wait for the full game, I'm going to be rocking the N7 armor for most if not all of the game, if anybody wants a dedicated partner for the co-op hit me up, I've been desperately looking for one on the east coast, just so it's easier to sync up time wise

I want an Engineer with that same N7 Armor. Could be a kit like the Battlefield Soldier.
But instead of Combat Drone, give it Cryo blast (Isaac Clarke, the master of explosions) Image IPB
