I guess not enough players are playin' of late, they aren't getting the data they used to, and need extra time to gather enough for a decent amount of changes.

Or everyone's bein' dragged off to work on ME4's multiplayer. Or even possibly DAIII's multiplayer (it was going to have one, right?)

R.I.P. ME3MP. I spent more time with you than I've spent with any woman.

Jeez... how many more buffs and nerfs do you want for a game that has had 40+ balance changes already? It seems some of you want change just for change.

Please fix how long it takes to spend credits in the store with the next balance changes, I really don't think anyone decides which pack to buy based on the pretty pictures

If ME3 MP is really nearing, it's end, I think that there will be one more DLC and (hopefully)it will give us a class builder.

It's okay, I forgive you.

Not like your balance changes have mattered
at all in the past few weeks, I'm sure nobody
will even notice the difference.

I'll be worried once they stop weekend operations.

Those are largely automated now and they could have come up with a backlog of different operations to string us along...

So you'd say the game is as good and balanced as it's ever gonna be right now?

How naive.

Sad but understandable. At the release they said they would support the game with DLCs for a year. Last September, they confirmed to support it for the next six months. Early development of ME4 has recently begun, so i think like some users above me they are gradually moving on to other projects. Aside the big single player DLC coming ( perhaps early March = one full year ), we STILL don't know officially if there's gonna be another MP DLC - and if there is, it will be the last.

I was an avid MP addict until now, but like many others i begin to be bored mainly because of the lack of inputs from BW. DNA and red tape about specific content is ok, BUT ignorance regarding future support is not bliss here.

Looking back at hte latest Weekend ops they might as well get rid of them and add the N7 promo weapons as URs to the store, because it seems that they ran out of ideas

Hint hint: dlc in progress. No time left!

More like:

Hint Hint: It's been nearly a year since the game's release and the majority of the team is probably split between the new SP DLC and ME4, because you know the MP/DLC studio picked up the franchise.
So yeah, I can see why ME3 would start to take a backseat.

Well when me3 mp does end, that marks my retirement from the ME series even if its continued. MP was this games only saving grace for me.

To be fair, game is getting old. 'Tis expected.

This. I wouldn't be shocked if they even bother with balance changes this time 6 months from now.

In whose opinion, almost every other thread that has someone complaining about Harrier/Infiltrator/Geth/etc? The only thing naive is the constant amount of butthurt over a PvE game; get over it. Forget these stupid balance changes, fix the damn bugs.

That's why naive is so fitting. Or do you think that when the balance changes (that are still due mind you because some things are just out of bounce compared to others!) are being rolled back, we will see any increase in patches?

And yes, even PvE games need balancing, or else you end up having all people play Kroguards with Piranhas if you can recall the early weeks. after the latter got out.

My gut reaction is that they are slowly dropping ME3 to move on to other things.

No, the naive thing is thinking that there is an infinite amount of time and EA is willing to throw all and every resource into this game. Not being naive is realizing that fixing glitches, and the reluctant patch, should be the priority before balance changes because there is a finite amount of time and money. The more time spent trying to do balance, the less time there is for bugs; this is a zero sum game. Example: rocket glitching, trying to fix it, reverting the acolyte, need I say more? Also, the only thing out of "bounce" is what is in peoples heads, and it certainly seems to be the very small but vocal minority. There are some stronger builds and weapons, but nothing overpowering to the effect that you see the class in every single game you play.

I agree, PvE games do need balance. But after 40+ balances? Look at the pace of change. Get over it.

I guess we traded operations every 2 weeks for balance changes every 2 weeks.
The question is... was it worth it?

Not as they are.  They're not much of a challenge and losing the community aspect of the old style is disappointing.  Balance changes have run on the lean side lately so there isn't much lost here.

I've been under a rock apparently.  What does OTS stand for?

OneTrueShot, local DLC prophet until today: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/343/index/15653572

I guess 'tis true, no prophet is ever welcomed in their home land.

and in the end, all every second weeks balance changes will just look like this anyway:

------------------------------------------------------------
January 27. 2013
------------------------------------------------------------

this are all and every balance changes this week:

Javelin Sniper Rifle
- Damage increased from [1236.6-1545.8] to [1237.1-1546.3]

they call it: "urgent javelin buff",
we call it: "whuzz up?"... .
