It's been almost a full year since release, they've released all (or almost all) of the planned free DLC, and they're winding down regular support for this game.

Pretty soon there won't be balance changes ever.
We can only hope.

Perhaps you should make that a seperate sticky? People have been a bit paniced about it.
BioWare did not confirm the functionality of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer after "near future".
Yeah, lets sticky that, I bet people wont get any wild ideas...

Balance changes every 2 weeks is fine. Rather have some well considered and less frequent changes than having changes just because it is Tuesday and everyone is expecting something.
I think its more likely that they are preparing to stop supporting the game

And can u reaffirm rather thanletting wild assumptions and vague rumour cloud the forums and frustrate you cos of all the ambiguous hints and teases on u part with respect, that me3 mplayervand splayer is nearing it end? Do u want us to believe that me4 is taking away and undermining u focus on me3 ? So more me4 focus equals no more splayed or mplayer after the last lot of upcoming dlc? Bryan u and u team must clarify the forwRd plans in general so u nor us get frusrtrated with each other

I think it's being taken more as a sign that ACTIVE support such as weekly changes (and soon, DLC) are comin to an end, not that you're simply goin to turn the game off on us, lmao!

Didn't think so, but still... hearing that gives me that warm, tingly feeling inside.

My brain hurts after reading that post.
Then you are obviously not headbutting krogan mplayer:P!
Sorry no spaces, etc...
but the point is clear
bioware complained when pple got the ending wrong
they complained about the numerous glitches that were there being exploited and they would not be a problem if they would not be present.
But none of this was clear and it was up to us to make assumptions/ put suggestions.
As you know on all range of issues from ending through to glitches, to erratic changes in challenge wkend schedule, short notice overhauls to things we kept in the dark till last minute. The point of my post is clear however...If bioware want pple's behavior to change attitudes to them etc THEY have to improve their attitude to us.
And that includes keeping us in the loop more than is being done to ensure we and they do not make wild guesses or assumptions between one another.
On all the points i mentioned here, one theme is crystal clear: We make assumptions from limited hints through press releases etc...yet too many of them are unclear...and where there is too much ambiguity there is assumption.
FACT ONE: someone PLEASE CORRECT ME and present EVIDENCE OF A CREDIBLE SOURCE THAT THE NEXT SP DLC WILL INDEED BE THE LAST Just cos it the biggest does not mean it the last. LAst hurrah for old returns to the rumored 'citadel' dlc (even then we do not know what it title is or wha for sure it comprises)
FACT TWO: very vague guessing games as to whether or not bioware are doing a mplayer dlc but do we know for sure?
FACT THREE: Bioware can clarify their schedule so we know what happening and we can discuss and speculate on FACT not a conflicty between fact and fiction and do it WITHOUT giving away key plot points or characters for either sp dlc or mp dlc right?
So the question remains...are bioware happy for us to assume and let rumours gain momentum and overshadow the merits of what comes and what is fact?
Do you bioware want us to speculate on fiction and fantasy or discuss some fact:
ie: what type of things in general can we expect in the mplayer dlc minus specific charaters etc? But quantity of things and items and what item category types in general? what date is confirmed?
That the key point here....We do NOT KNOW this is the last sp dlc unless someone come across a obscure source that presents concrete evidence and we DO NOT KNOW what future mplayer dlc will be like either soo...

Agreed. They'll probably stop balance changes altogether a month or two after the last DLC. But at leas they'll keep the servers up for a bit longer even after the support stops.

FACT: There is at least one more SP DLC coming: www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/120955-BioWare-Hints-at-Big-Things-in-Next-Mass-Effect-3-DLC
And that's all we know for certain, as far as I am aware. No new MP DLC has been confirmed or denied - just hinted at by OneTrueShot (Reckoning) who leaked all previous MP DLCs.
Anything beyond that one thing labeled as FACT is just rumors, speculation, and hand-wringing.
