It's sad Citadel will be the last ME3SP DLC. I hope it's better than useless Omega.

The game is dead when it loses dev support or starts dying then.
If it lives after that it's due to love from the fans and players.

Ummm... I think this thread would pertain more to the single player side of things since it appears to only affect Bioware Edmonton and not Bioware Montreal. Looking at those tweets, it's only the "Citadel" dlc that will be labeled as the "last dlc" in terms of SP.

I think Bioware Montreal will continue as long as interest will remain for this game and there will be more to come. Whether the next will be the last or there's even more, we can only wait and see. Speculation will always be speculation.

I guess beside SP DLC MP DLC is also pretty much done. They were releasing character cards every week when hitherto new characters came with DLC. I don't have the exact numbers, but the amount of multiplayers has also dropped. EA/BW may continue to maintain servers, probably there will still be weekly balance changes, but apart from that, when there are too few people to make microtransactions pay off, there will be no further content.

I hope ME3 MP was successful enough to warrant a full-blown ME4 MP and that they implement some popular requests.
I would really like to see:

• Lobby browser with your ping to the host displayed. Let you include/exclude games in progress and how many players are currently in the lobby.
• A firing range, where you can shoot at dummies of the different enemy types and test out kits
• Better selection of gear chests.

I think that's all really.

It is the last DLC made by Bioware Edmonton. So it is single player DLC. Bioware Montreal is in charge of all things mass effect from now on and they were in charge of all the multiplayer dlc before that. While it may be the last Single player dlc. There will be at least one more multiplayer one.

Those tweets are only really talking about SP. MP might wrap up at roughly the same time, but those tweets don't prove it.

I heard the next Mass Effect will run on the same engine as Battlefield 3 which is much better for multiplayer than the current engine.  Also with the new consoles coming out this year/next year I would bet it's next gen.

Yup, Citadel will be the last DLC (that or the MP DLC, whichever comes out first).

Too much speculation... It's be much easier just to wait for some sort of announcement.
