American Football and pain... lol...

I'm a Brit, we play Rugby Union and Rugby League... its a bit (the fact the ball is egg shaped) like American Football but with more pain and less body armor....

Well, not a big football of any kind fan, and I have always said this myself.  But then I don't recall in Rugby seeing 300 pound, 6'7" tall trains landing on players.  Correct me if this is a wrong impression.  Could be since even in the NHL they are going for this type of player to do some permanent damage to finesse players.  It seems to have infested all pro sports where player to player contact occurs.

I wonder if it is true, if it will actually be a good DLC. Or will people say its good just because they can get a happy ending.

Though I still can't see how Shep can do anything in this ending, even if she/he did survive. I mean Shep was messed up and even if she/he wakes up magically healed the DLC would be what, Shep walking and seeing a bunch more cutscenes? And no way you'd take over as someone else, that would be... bleh!

hmmm there is this... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/19863795 I know this was accidental but it has been known in scums for "accidents" to happen.

Then he played on, would a NFL player do that?

Rugby players have broken necks in the past too.

American Football stereotype in the UK is big lads in body armor who would get owned by Rugby lads doing similar tackles without body armor..

I've never played American Football so I was just playing on the stereotype..

One of the comments there:
"People, don't dismiss this. It might actually be true. Remember when OTS created an account here and leaked the retaliation description? this looks exactly the same. His name is TheTrueVivec too.

We'll see.."

I want this to be true because whenever I replay ME3 I stop at London mission. :-p

Fan confusion is the only basis for a DLC. Leviathan was there to sew up some loose canon endings..lol

but really, I'm at a loss for what it could, muchless what is should contain to satisfy many fans, some will just be happy with unhappiness as canon and the unstoppable force that drives the BSN.(= one giant bit ch session?)

I've made it a personal policy to never get hyped with something Gamble says. It never lives up to expectations.

It's apples to oranges. American football as a whole is much safer then rugby however thanks to the large amount of equipment American Football players sometimes feel WAY to comfortable making high speed collisions and many times don't give a second thought to full speed helmet to helmet hits.  In rugby you learn very quickly that if you use your head to initate contact at full speed bad things are going to happen.

Still I'd say hockey is pretty dangerous as well.  You're running around on ice with basically two kinves attached to your feet.  Then on top of that they give you a metal stick and you're told to hit a frozen vulcanized piece of rubber as hard as you can, while many defenders are encouraged to use their bodies to block shots.  Oh and you can fight to after which the punishment is a five minute time out allowing you to come back and fight some more if you so wish.

Either way they're all dangrous

That's why I was asking-haven't seen Rugby in a long time.  Have seen some Irish Football (girls) in person, and believe it or not, that was crushing.

Oh well, back on topic.  Really would like to see what is in store in the DLC, but a teaser might not do it.  Though Omega's teaser was right on-didn't show much of a story line and stressed the action, which is really what Omega was about.

Man if this were true this DLC would have to completely erase the epilogues. Don't see how Shep can give the control monologue and somehow be alive. And for people who don't have the EC it would have to do different things there because there is no way for BioWare to know who has it (though I suspect most people do). That just seems like way too much extra work they'd have to do to make so many versions of this.

you seem to assume the DLC will let you control Shepard, it may not...many games have done that in the past.

I'm 80% sure that the last DLC is gonna be crap.

Bioware leave ME3 to die already, stop wasting time making those DLC's and focus entirely on the making of ME4.

It's fake

- Shepard is referred to as "he"
- Breath scene takes place on the Citadel? Yeah, sure, that totally makes sense...
