Besides, if they say it won't change the ending, that the ending is done, that they are done addressing it, and blah blah not ending blah, ever since the EC was released, I'm going to go with this dlc not being ending related.

There is no way they'll have a DLC that takes place in the middle of the story where your former squadmates show up to help you. It would be extremely messy given after the Genophage you still haven't even met a bunch of them.

I thought that Dark matter has been dropped for ME3? Why should they make a dark matter DLC with zero relevance to the main plot?

Yes xsdob because I care ALOT but they screwed up and fail to admit it and fix it, the EC did nothing THATS why it was free to begin with. You think they are going to give us a free truly epic time invested ending change or extension? not a chance, if we want it and they create it we have to pay up. I doubt they did the EC just out fo the goodness of their heart, they did it to shut people up and move on but that did not happen. They wanted us to make believe the normandy came and picked your squadmates up the first time? come on they know the endings are horrible they just don't want to open there mouths and admit it.

Mostly from Tali's recruitment mission.  Also, Gianna Parasini mentions it if she appears in ME2 for you.
