I look forward to my none ending related story dlc, because I am not delusional or operating on fallicy based logic.
How much time do you waste here saying the same old crap like that?
You seam quite delusional to me
And by the way, use something else than delusional, using the world is quite delusional
The bsn is my first internet forum, and the one I am most comfortable posting in. Besides, if they say it won't change the ending, that the ending is done, that they are done addressing it, and blah blah not ending blah, ever since the EC was released, I'm going to go with this dlc not being ending related.
You don´t read comics, do you? Never believe what the people in charge say. I´m finding that in other areas of entertainment it´s also very true.
If things stay the way they are, ME4 is going to sell a lot less. And that´s not delusion.

So Ruggly, if that leak is true, the miranda civil war actually caught Yvonne's attention?
What the hell was that?
the war that got the character forums closed, I think?

In the romance forums, miranda fans sort of got into a "civil war" regarding her character. Splitting off into different threads, fighting, but talking about it is trudging off into unwanted territory.

I think he means dark energy. Well, maybe it's true, maybe not. But a story around dark energy would at least make sense since it has already so many references in ME 1 and 2 (especially part 2). It even could be a problem large enough for ME 4 (what's more epic than a reaper invasion led by an AI that's millions of years old? correct, a fight against the nature of the universe itself).HiddenInWar wrote...

Dark matter? Nah not in a 10000 years. They wont bring a random DLC that does not even affect the plot.

Chances are they wouldn't leave without it. We don't need teasers for something like that

Bioware's delusional if they think the the EC fixed everything. They just gave us more of nothing.
You still spaming your emo sadness all over here?
Yes xsdob because I care ALOT but they screwed up and fail to admit it and fix it, the EC did nothing THATS why it was free to begin with.
I don't think that's quite right to be perfectly frank.
You think they are going to give us a free truly epic time invested ending change or extension?
No, I do not. And I am okay with that.
not a chance,
Good, We agree on something.
if we want it and they create it we have to pay up.
As it should be since it will require a lot of work to do and is more than the fanbase really deserved after the way it's acted, in my opinion at least.
I doubt they did the EC just out fo the goodness of their heart, they did it to shut people up and move on but that did not happen.
I believe it was done for both reasons to be honest, and the two are not mutually exclusive.
They wanted us to make believe the normandy came and picked your squadmates up the first time? come on they know the endings are horrible they just don't want to open there mouths and admit it.
It makes about as much sense as the collector homeworld pickup back in ME2. I mean, why have an opening in the structure big enough for a ship to fly into? Where was shepard anyway in the base to get to that edge? And how did the rest of the squad make it aboard the ship so quickly? And if not quickly, why did they not come looking for shepard and the others? If they were under enemy fire, than why did the collectors not come to finish shepard off while he or she was so vulnerable? They can fly, why not fly down where he or she was and kill or capture shepard while unconscious?
It's one of those moments thats suppose to just sweep you in emotions and not be entirely 100% logical, like star wars or lord of the rings tbh. Though I can see why many who do not enjoy those types of works or that type of scene would hate this. I persoanlly can accept it, and I think many others could too, if such tactics were applied to, say, a love interest or former squad mate coming back to help, despite having no logical reason to do so.

They wanted to actually use the dark energy plot in ME3 as the core motivation for the reapers and their harvest. They dismissed that and scrapped it completely.chidingewe8036 wrote...

Why should they now create a DLC that does not go hand in hand with the reaper situation. of course it would be nice if they would pick thst one up as a bridge to ME4 but I doubt it.

This game series however may not be as powerful as it could habe been though, and that is sad. But we shall see what the future holds. Perhaps I am wrong, that is a very realistic possibility, but things as they are now are up in the air, and until solid proof of their downfall is presented, I don't think they will be doomed to failing. My personal outlook and whatever shall be in the future however are not related, so in other words, we shall just have to wait and see.

I think ME4 and DA3 for that matter will sell pretty well, not as good mind you, but pretty well. Reason being that the sentiment that ME3 was horrible and the death of mass effect doesn't seem to be a shared sentiment between the average and normal fans and the uber diehards. At least not that I have seen.
I think these games will sell well regardless. If there's one thing the new Bioware does well, it's promoting their product. The hype will again know no bounds.
But, I have been wrong in the past. Could be that the combined blunders so far will yield an effect on sales.
