ready for another "leak?"
Reddit's sense of humor is deteriorating even further. Didn't think it was possible.
Pretty soon they'll make a bsn reaction animal meme about these leaks, and their humor will be dead forever.
Reddit's poor sense of humor doesn't concern me. The fact that many are desperate enough to fall for it does.
That's what's kinda humorous about the whole thing.
Desperate Hope is what I call it

"We're not likely to be talking much about the next DLC till around the middle of next month when the content is better locked. Obviously that could change and be a little earlier or later, but as a rough guideline, mid-Feb or so."
Which in my mind is a good thing. More time working on it, hopefully the more polished of a DLC it will be.

I hope you are right but I am still worried, hopeful, but worried

i wouldnt have wanted star wars to roll the credits after luke flies away with his father from the exploding death star! that celebration scene at the end had a purpose!

Thy're willing to pay for the voice of God to explain it with more coherent logic than what's currently there.
Nothing "LOL" worthy about that, considering the circumstances.

Definitely this.
And it just isn't him suriviving... it's about actual satisfying closure that is built from what came before instead of a sudden theme and tonal shift that focuses on the technological singularity that hadn't been anything in the main trilogy. I think many would have been disgruntled, but okay if Shepard died if it actually followed the story. As it stands, Shepard became an idiot or died for no good reason simply because of some plot device to deliver an arbitrary decision that came out of nowhere.

chronologically it takes place before the EC slides. It is shown after because the the writers wanted to keep the player wondering if he lived or not. They showed it last because they wanted to keep you wondering and hanging on til the last second.chidingewe8036 wrote...
have any of you ever considered the fact that in high ems destroy shepard's breath scene is not shown until AFTER the slides showing everyone at peace and rebuilding???? why would they do that? In one of the slides the Citadel was whole again but shepard's breath scene is still shown at the very end before the credits role? whats up with this? can someone explain away this one? does anyone have a clever smart remark for this one? It is indeed fact no documentary needed for this one.
They saved his fate for last

Right, I think people picked up on that, McFly.

Basically what your implying is that you want some long drawn out craptastic "Return of the King" epilogue, showing what each and every last squadmate is doing after the war....and show Shepard holding his L.I. in his arms. (Even though we know what each and every squadmate is going to do after the war). It doesn't get more cheesy than that.
The only thing I wouldn't mind is seeing Shepard stand up out of the rubble with that creepy smirk of his. (Like ME1), then cut to credits. If not, its whatever because I know he's alive and what all of his squad is going to do now that the war is over, anyways.

What? No we don't, we have very little idea of what people might be up to, so something that exposes on this might be something I'd enjoy.
I don't really mind though. I was unsatisfied, so I wrote what they did.

On the way to store, I thought to myself that if the leak was true, how would people who had tali killed in their playthrough or on rannoch be able to play the dlc?

Again... if Shepard stayed dead and we got that kind of epilogue, the outrage would have been muted. But then, you are ignoring actual points against the ending as it stands to outright denegrate those of us not happily defending the plot hole laden fiasco that has dragged the series off the pinnacle of gaming. At least try to actually discuss the points brought up. I know I know... it's a difficult job actually trying to defend the ending with actual evidence.

Yes, they showed him breathe. And yes, it is heavily implied that he survived.
That said, without proper context, there is little emotional closure for many. Hence, his surviving may have been literally shown, but not in a satisfying manner.
I assume you were fine with it, and I'm happy for you. There were many who weren't, however, and would love for this to be expanded.

I'm a sucker for those cheesy romantic ending types anyway.
