Well whatever it is, I think they said they're finished with DLC in terms of Mass Effect 3 after this. This is the final one. I mean, 8 writers, 3 composers, etc. Doesn't sound like a side mission DLC or anything.

PLUS the fact that this will be first DLC that will have new Joker lines. And the fact that Harbinger will probably appear, since he definitely didn't get lines solely for one trailer. It's gonna be something different, that's for sure.

Wow, 8 seems like an awful lot, but then I have no idea how many writers are typically involved in a DLC.

There is also the possibility that most of the team just wants to participate in some way since it's the last one for the trilogy. When was the original game released, 2007? Not sure how many folks from the original dev team are still around, but holy cow that's a long time to work on one creative property. They will be probably be going through Mass Effect withdrawal symptoms after this is all over. Or very intense relief. Maybe both.

I believe there are only 2-3 writers for your average DLC. 8 is definitely an unusually high number.
