has anyone thought this might be some sort of tie in to the next mass effect game somehow? perhaps like arrival? that's assuming the next game is a sequel and not a prequel.

Hard to be disappointed when your expectations are so low that you're tripping over them. I know no DLC they release is going to fix the terrible endings, thus you can only hope for something cool, but still the DLC all feel empty when you know it doesnt matter in the end.

Out of pure selfishness, I hope not. If this is the last we get to see of the characters from this trilogy, I hope they focus on Shepard and the other crew members as much as possible.

They did say that they would extend Mass Effect 3 to a fourth game. Although this was before the game launched. Mike Gamble said something about "keeping your saves".

I don't think there's anything wrong either, but his sig hints that he was disappointed by the game and probably doesn't want Mass Effect 4. In that case, he should find a new game to play and move on.

Correction. *She* was disappointed by the game, as were many others, so pull your head in.

My comment was in relation to Arrival being a bridge. It has little to no impact on anything in ME3.

I don't remember them saying 4 would be "extended into a 4th game" I just think they said there will be a fourth one. Plus, its hard to make a DLC to bridge it if they are still in planning stages and don't even know when it will be set, if 3 will even have any impact or anything to do with it.

I can't wait till they announce that's its not post-ending or a new one, but this place will turn soooo ugly once they do.

Probably because all the NPCs have some content, and they want everyone written by their normal writers.

Looking forward to the teaser, or whatever we get. This place always goes nuts for that sort of thing.

It should have some relevance to Mass Effect 1. That was my fave. Or at least more about Saren- or synthesis if that's the intended goal and Saren was kinda for synthesis in a way. Hmm, this makes me nostalgic for ME1...
