Best reactor kill was this one gold pug where 2 of the dudes tried the entire match to get people. One was obvious because he had a mic and didn't talk, only giggled like a little school girl every time he hit the button- hit or miss... and stayed by that button pretty much the whole game. 5 critters in there? Nope. Try to run through, yep... So we get a wave 10 hack in the center, ~5 sec before hack was done I exited and roasted all 3. Didn't revive. Finished the wave solo ftw. I loved it, no regrets...

I can understand friends having a joke / laugh by locking people in the reactor, but when pugs close me in with some enemies and force me to waste an ops pack I usually give them an earful. If you know the person you are locking in, fine, its a joke.

If its a random player in a public game its just moronic and inconsiderate to try and kill them.

Agreed, unless of course some doof has been trying to get you the entire game, and you manage to get him instead.  Then its vengeance

I remember the first time I got shut in there. I'm playing with a PUG, we get an escort and the drone leads us through the reactor. I turn around and start to wonder why that one guy is hanging back. I soon found out. He got all three of us.

I've been trapped three times, and it was all in the same match. I was playing Kroguard so I survived two of them, but the third time I had already lost some health so I died in there.

I locked a team mate in there finally for the first time yesterday. It was unintentional, and the banshees and brutes didn't get hurt much. I ended up using a missile so I could revive him.

On the other hand, I've been locked in more times than I can count. I just never seem to hear the warnings, or I just don't pay enough attention.

Only did it once on purpose to bronze pug and revived both of them. Done it once by accident trying to go into cover and hitting button instead . One other time I hit button to roast enemies and a pug ran inside just at wrong time :-/

Once I was inside reactor when doors closed. I was TGI so...  I used stimpack.

I don't usually vent on Reactor, but when I do, I do it like a BAWS, with a Fury or a Slayer and staying until the very last instant. Bonus point if you've company.
Then I teleport out, unflinching walk and smoking clothes, while everyone else cook.

Hack finished, one guy ran out and hit the button, two of us died inside.... it was a PUG and I actually laughed, good on him

 I took a break from MP this summer and wasn't familiar with the new hazard maps.

"Oh look" I said to myself, "they added a button". "Hmm, what's it do?"

I pushed it and nothing happened.

"Oh, maybe it has some effect on higher difficulties" I think as I run into the core.

Two seconds later:

"Ohhhhhhhhh...."

I pushed it just as 2 of my teammates ran through the opposite end of the Reactor while running away from a horde meanwhile there was already a near dead Brute, several Marauders and a Banshee inside the reactor.

Long story short. Teammates down, Brute and Marauders fried and the Banshee teleported through the reactor door and proceeded to Sync-kill me.

Fun times.

Best hazard ever. Stick a few scorpion rounds on the closed doors so that they get stuck for maximum trolling.

My first time on the map I was like, this is new, what does this button do… resulting in 3 downed teammates cooked to angry perfection.  Oops.

Whenever I play that map, I try to encourage people to press the button. The button is the whole point of the hazard map, so press the dang button and do it now! xD

Did I loved it when I the hack circle was inside of the thing and I did not on purpose kill 3/4 of the team. Was a lot of fun, the cursing upon my bloodline, the ragequiting, the hatemail, I just love to play with my friends.

It was on a silver pug game. I was N7 Paladin. Wave 10 with hack against Collectors. Possessed scions made a hell of the place. Quickly pushed the button while 2 teammates missile launched. Then I came back with them just in time as they didn't notice the venting. We all died.


But I was magnanimous : I had the medi-gel transmitter and revive them all. And they didn't kick me after the game. Maybe they didn't notice I did it on purpose.

I will try again and this time, I will record it. Promise.

Ive had people do it to me alot. It doesn't really bother me. Its the funniest when im playing as the Paladin, cause then I'll go inside and taunt the enemies, tell my friends to push the button, and then proceed to watch the enemies get roasted alive, as I laugh at them from behind my shield, taking no damage at all.
