Was MP DLC really canceled?

That and, didn't Chris Priestly also say that as long as people kept playing, they'd keep making content?

Unless there's something -I- haven't heard about, then I'd say cancellation isn't something that's currently on the books. Quit panicking.
Is this the last MP DLC? It's possible, but I even I couldn't tell you that.
Just ride the wave, when it finally reaches the beach, we'll set up deckchairs and enjoy the scenery until ME4.

You know what would cheer all of us up? An official announcement. Maybe some teaser pictures, or even a trailer. I remember the afternoon Retaliation was released, and how I lost my **** at the sight of jetpack turians. Ahhh, good times.

I think the question, if not the answer, specifically said MP DLC. Honestly they would be fools to make more SP than MP DLC, you see people in here saying they spent $50 here and there on packs. Even if they wanted to, they couldn't spend that much on SP DLC, and SP probably takes way more work to make. Everyone knows the real money in this game is in microtransactions.8 Bears wrote...

No, there's at least one more, there was a thread about it awhile ago showing a PM from Chris Priestly to somebody. He said there's definitely more coming. Just not in January.
I know the message you are referring to, and he didn't specify whether he was talking about SP or MP or both.

YAY! I thought that you saying no more leaks meant it wasn't happening. Now I'm guessing it's happening SOON.

1 more mp, 1 more sp.
You're probably right about us getting one more MP DLC but I think we're in for plenty of SP content. Mass Effect 2 contained five DLCs:
- Arrival
- Overlord
- Lair of the Shadow Broker
- Kasumi
- Zaeed
So far with ME3 we've only seen Leviathan and Omega and a third is upcoming. I would definitely expect Mass Effect 3 to outdo it's predecessor in terms of SP content. Also, From Ashes does not count as DLC. In the end as long as we keep giving BioWare our moneys they'll keep making nice things for us. They're a great people.

Take a look at that list you have there. There are 3 "content" DLCs- arrival, overlord, shadow broker- and 2 minor "character" DLCs. With the upcoming Citadel DLC ME3 will match ME2 for content DLC, and despite the hate "From Ashes" is really a character DLC. So, with your logic, all we could really expect was 1 more character DLC, which I severely doubt because Bioware has said they are going with fewer squad members this time.

No, by your logic we should expect one more character DLC in order for ME3 to match ME2. I expect it to exceed. Read more carefully, think harder.

Also, the Multi-player needs more Terminus Maps... Just playing Unknown and Glacier/Glacier Hazard for increase on the Terminus Systems is NOT my idea of fun...
Let's count ME2 and ME3 DLCs and analyse them:
ME2:
Genesis
Arrival
Alternate Appearence pack #1
Shadow Broker
Firepower Pack
Aegis Pack
Overlord
Equalizer
Kasumi
Alternate Appearence Pack #2
Cerberus Network
Zaaed
Firewalker
Normandy Crash Site
Arc Projector
Cerberus Weapon and Armor
Plus the Terminus Pack(Terminus Armor and the Black-hole gun)
ME3(so far):
Omega
Leviathan
From Ashes
Extended Cut
Resurgence
Earth
Rebellion
Retaliation
Firefight pack
Groundside pack
Alternate Appearence Pack 1
Analysis
Alternate Appearence Pack 1 released
Alternate appearce Pack 2 to be released(otherwise it wouldn't be Alternate Appearence Pack 1)
Zaeed and Javik are Character DLCs so that leaves 1(Kasumi)
Terminus Pack is purchased separetedly/pre-ordered
Firepower and Firefight-Weapons Pack
Resurgence, Earth,Rebellion and Retaliation are MP DLCs
Extended Cut was never to be released if the fans didn't have negative support, so that doesn't count as DLC
2 more DLC for Weapon and Armor, which is Aegis and Equalizer... Or BW could simply add them in the next DLC
Cerberus Weapon and Armor. Another DLC for Weapon and Armor. Could integrate them in a new DLC
Arc Projector(new weapon), same as above
Genesis is just for new players and ME3 was considered good for new players. That leaves Genesis out of the Equation
Normandy Crash Site(Emotional DLC)... Needs one for ME3 or not at all, because it was great those scenes of Anderson death, Mordin's Sacrifice, etc...
Firewalker is a vehicle exploration pack. We didn't have that on ME3
Arrival is like Omega: No Squadmates to be taken on the mission.
Shadow Broker added something new with vehicle pursuits and Lighting Capacitors, plus 1 temporary Squadmate and a Base of Operations... We have yet to see that on ME3
Kasumi is another Character Pack, we just have Javik meanwhile
That leaves us with:
Overlord
Leviathan
Groundside Pack

Yes it does - it's not that the funds used for its creation dropped like celestial manna into their laps.
