I trust consistent writers.

I also don't trust writers that have been in hiding since ME3's release and refuse to even defend their "Art".

The fact that the 2 people most responsible for this hideous travesty of a game have been Salman Rushdie'ying for almost a year now says it all.

@ anorling I don't want to poke a dead, decomposing half eaten horse. But because I am human and need constant stimuli I clicked on your Massnihilsm thing. I cannot beleive someone predicted the ending. My god. Spooky. That is just awful. Wow. Shocking.

But back on point, sorry. I hope the DLC is big like Leviathan- Omega was good but seemed a little linear to me. But meh.

It's that "prediction" by screwoffreg and what happened with the original endings, the "yes, we are listening" thread and the EC that makes me wonder how much of ME3 got written by fans.  The Normandy evac scene is something people said probably happened, but they thought it would be ridiculous.  Joker running away-that was something people said probably happened but still didn't seem to fit with Joker given that he'd left Shepard before.  Refuse was something fans wanted but they wanted it also to be part of a better ending where Shepard regains a backbone and tells the kid he's a mess.  Shooting the kid, was something they saw on youtube-something that happened repeatedly because people hated the kid.  Control-in the original endings you are told Shepard dies and takes control of the reapers and people said that it would be ridiculous but that probably means xyz and xyz is what we got.  So, beware your predictions.

Real refuse or a real destroy with living Shepard as a possibility with a helping of blue babies and I may want to call of my divorce from BW.

Yeah, I guess so. Damn. Straight outta twilight zone.

let's see if it works

I predict blue babies and a direct sincere apology from Mac and Casey

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I will trust the writers. But this is their last chance!!

So if it's not ending-related...does this mean we finally get to kill off Liara?? :o

They're not obligated to defend anything.

I think a major member of the franchise will be potentially killed off. My bets are on Joker or Liara. Don't know why. But I think something major will happen in this DLC- not ending related.

lol

I had the same idea. Oh, but who to kill?

I would pick Joker, for the shock value.

Yeah, it would almost be funny
But it's paid DLC after all. They won't add anything that has a huge impact on the story or any major characters. Ending related or not.

Pay 15$ and get another crew member killed yey! Now there's an interesting DLC concept. Where do you get those wonderful ideas?

Or misleading PR statements. While it doesn't make it ethical, it's not  that uncommon in this industry.

And they're still not obligated to refute your opinion of their game.

My post wasn't about writers defending anything, I just prefer the same writers to write the same characters so we don't end up with what we ended up with. I understand not all writers stay, but they could at least make sure to understand what the previous writer wrote and I know that might sound harsh, but its sad when I find fans are better understanding of what the original writer created.

You're asking for competence from Bioware- you might as well be asking for Half-Life 3 from valve.

They might not defend it, but how you will ever buy any piece of fiction from them again if they do not even talk about they wrote in the first place.

Casey Hudson tweeted about reviewing Deception, and we all know where that ended.

Is this a writer you invest your time?

They lied to their fans blatantly "No ABC endings" (just 1 example of many) is an outright lie....it has nothing to do with opinion.

Its hard to still be pulling for a franchise that I went from absolutely loving to being pretty apathetic towards, but thats pretty much where i am. The only reason Im still hopeful is because of that misguided bit of hope I still hold onto that this DLC will "clear things up". I know that I am going to be disappointed, but f_ck it, I hope they can pull it off. So far, the DLC that they have released for ME3 has been garbage that I am glad I watched on youtube instead of wasting money on.

Do you find it often that writers "defend" their work to common fans? I don't.

Also, Casey Hudson isn't a writer.

4 - We have said repeatedly that we will not be doing more endings for ME3 and that the Extended Cut is the "end of the endings". People refuse to believe me, which is fine as I have been known to not tell the whole story, but do not blame me because you choose not to believe. Temper your expectations.

i dont get it... at the end of the day you want to make money, so why dont you do something there obviously is a market for... its not like it would hurt you in any way. bethesda had no problems with that after a much smaller fan outcry, so its not like its forbidden or anything...

no offence, just honestly curious...

This is a crucial point, and whenever someone openly discusses it or asks why not since it would be practically a no-brainer, there's a need to act like they're morons, is beyond me.  Yes, he's said there won't be any before, but still and all there's no satisfactory reason given as to why content that has a ready made audience that is practically begging for it appears to be considered as stupid by a company that wants to make money and says they listen to their fans.  Other companies would tear their eyes out if customers told them exactly the stuff they would buy.

What if Half-Life 3 is an exclussive title for the Steam Box- is that enough to buy one??? I would say yes for me. What's your opinion. I ask this because I think it's actually very possible.
