Hi All
I've been thinking about creating six characters to experience each 'origin' and fulfill each 'alternate endings'.
I've tried to come up with six characters which are unique and best suited to their background. I know these aren't going to be MIN/MAX builds, but they can't do that aswell as allowing the origin background.
Here are my builds, with starting bonus atttributes, skills and talents
Human Noble - Warrior sw+board - str, dex, magic, cunning, combat train, imp combat train, sheild bash
Mage - Either elf - 2wis, 2magic, herb, combat train, arcane bolt
Dalish Elf - Warrior 2 hander - 2wis, 2magic, surv, combat train, pinning shot
City Elf - Warrior dual-wield - 2wis, 2magic, coerc, combat train, dual wep sweep
Dwarf Commoner - Rog dual weild - str, dex, 2con, steal, poison, dirty fight
Dwarf Noble - Rog archer - str, dex, 2con, combat train, poision, dirty
What do you think? Anyone have a better idea.
The fly in the oinment is the 'mage' origin. If an Elf Mage could run the Elf origin it would be easy. Elfs for mages, Human warriors and Dorf rogs.....
Suitable player characters for each and every 'Origin' story

I agree, it's a shame there aren't more mage origin stories, since there's so much variety to be had with the mage class. I'd consider switching an elf warrior for a dwarf rogue, just so you get a full spread of the race/class combinations. Other than that, I like it

Your choices is ok. I had the city elf as an rogue and the dwarf noble as an warrior otherwise my character choices are similar.

I always imagined elves as rogues and dwarves as warriors. But thats just me. Especially considering that a noble would be a warrior, since thats the "honorable" thing. But its your game, and im sure that thoses would be fun. Just not for me.

I agree with everyone about how dwarf noble would 'make more sense' as a warrior, and city elf as a rogue.
Another argument that can be made to support the dwarf noble = warrior and city elf = rogue scenario are based on the specific items you receive. Dwarf nobles get the Aeducan Shield, and I can't see a rogue using a shield. CIty elf gets Adaia's Boots, an heirloom that seems more suited to the rogue class.

yeah, given the ife in the ailenages, elf rogue for city elf always made sense to me. Looks good, though.

My dwarf noble was an M1 Tank! But I think I'll try the Human Noble and see if I can become King.
