PS3 player here.

I'm pretty sure ME3 MP would be way better on PC. The only thing worse about it is Origin, as far as I can tell.

I'm jealous of one thing that PC doesn't have to worry about over PS3... those damn Collector hard freezes. Other than that i'm fine being an inferior console player.

Every format has it pro's & cons, there is no best, choose yours and enjoy.

Damn, desperate to quit Xbox and jump to PS4 next gen however the support is shocking, can't seeit improving suddenly for next gen. Xbox simply has overall more players however increased amount of jerks.

Of course it's PC.
PC has higher sensitivity, meanig you can turn around much quickly.
Game feels faster since enemies' reaction is faster, too.
While sprinting, you can actually use your mouse to check your surrounding.
On console, your sight is pretty much fixated to the front when you're sprinting so you can't see what's on your left and right.
PC doesn't have aim assist, so it's much better.

All ps3 has are missle glitchers. pc has people who hack the game to make weapons stronger.

Born2beagator, if no one takes the troll bait, it becomes a non-issue.

I agree with your earlier points yesterday, with respect to playing on console for less money spent than on PC.  Not everyone is in a financial position to have a "good rig."  But for those that do, fine, don't begrudge that.  Envy is not becoming.  

Whether an amount spent is appropriate or not is within the context of the individual.  For a college student with student loans, a gaming rig would be foolish (IMO).  For a computer programmer, married, no kids, maybe not.  For the geek who likes to tinker, upgrade, fuss with a computer, a gaming rig might be fine and affordable.  For someone who only wants what came out of the box or only has a small laptop, netbook or notebook computer, probably not.  In my family, we have all of the above.

The flame war thing is incumbant on the posters.  If you don't rise to the bait, no war ensues.  The troll cannot demand you play, the flame war ensues because you allow it.  Rather than demand a thread be locked or bemoan that it is not, look to yourself.  You got caught up in the moment.  You made some relevant points, but also grabbed some pretty obvious troll bait.  Grow a thicker skin, don't be envious of those who can afford a gaming rig.  Don't feel like you are in a lesser position as a console player.  Geez dude, it's just a freakin' video game, other than the fact that we mostly can't play cross-platform, I don't give a rats what people play on.  You shouldn't either.

I'm on xbox, and I have played this on pc so I know that those on pc have a HUGE advantage when it comes to mobility and aiming. Shaves a couple minutes off your runs... Sucks that my manifest is almost maxed on xbox, not starting over on pc.

The key word I suppose is multiplayer ... for me the PC will be better for online gaming than my PS3 every single time. My PC is wired directly into my modem/router so there's no wireless induced lag (even those few ms count - heh)... also, despite setting the wireless to a largely unused channel I live in an area where I can pick up about 10 other wireless routers on at the same time which seems to cripple the D/L speed on my PS3 - I've got a 60Mb/s connection, I get about 20Mb/s over the wireless.

... and that aside, I've been gaming on FPS type games since the original DOOM, I'm completely indoctrinated when it comes to mouse/keyboard - console controllers just do not have the sensitivity of a mouse; I find them almost unusable in FPS type games (or third-person shooters of course).

So why do I even have a PS3? Simple, GT5 - I've been addicted to Gran Turismo since the original on the PS1 ... even spent about £600 on a steering wheel and gaming chair for the PS3 version GT5, big ol' widescreen TV and home theatre system ... win!

Besides the PS3 is a nice bit of kit, Blu-Ray player and gaming rig and great for silly games to play with mates (Mushroom Wars + beer + pizza for instance) - unless you're gonna set up a LAN in your house you don't really get that with PCs.

I have one of the first PS3's from way back when and a Wii U and a self-built gaming PC. I must say i do prefer gaming on my PC. Things look better and i get much more precision out of a mouse/keyboard setup. However on games like AC3 on my PC, i use an xbox 360 pad.

Everything except for the missing credits and galazy at war not loading is better on PC.
60 fps(for the most part probably, I doubt ME3 runs at a stable 60 fps on PC )
Oh yeah forgot to mention that you have to use Origin, lol.

I'm moving over from PS3 to PC soon, Collector matches 9/10 freeze, persistant bugs, waiting for other players, slow loading/off host lag and last but not least overheating issues on the PS3. Starting a whole new manifest...will be quite fun actually

I'm on Xbox, but I can safely say that of course a game will be better on PC. Better graphics, faster processing, higher FPS, better controls (a controller will never be on par with mouse & keyboard), etc.

It is okay to be proud to own a particular console or be proud to be part of its community, but let's try to be objective here.
