Hey, has anyone decided on what characters they hope to use for their team yet?  I know it's possible to miss a few of them, and it's also possible for some of them to die (although I'm not sure which ones, or how these things occur) but... who do you plan to use?

I'm playing a mage my first time through, so I'll probably provide whatever healing support I need to.  Other than that I'll probably bring both Zevran and Leliana (pursuing Leliana as a love interest) to be my strikers.  Then I'll bring Sten to tank it up like a beast.

As a Human Noble Warrior, I've got tanking pretty much sorted out. I'll likely take the Dog (I adore Dogs) Leliana/Morrigan for romance purposes, and Zevran/Wynne for the other.



Oh who the hell am I kidding I'll mix and match -constantly- like I did in Jade Empire and my first run-through of Mass Effect.

I'll be a Dalish dual-wield rogue. I'll have Leliana as archer, Morrigan as mage, and dog as tank/warrior. If dog doesn't work out, probably Shale or Alistair to replace him.

Oghren, Shale & Wynne. Suits my first character best and leaves me hungry for all the chatter and romance on another playthrough. If Wynnes healing powers aren't too crucial, i might add Sten and go for a stoic melee only party

With my first playthrough I'm a dalish Warrior --> the tank

and I want tot team up with Alistair, Morrigan and Leliana. But I also want Rabbit yet I don't want to remove Alistair from the party becouse of his humour in the trailers.



Anyway, I'll take any party member who gets introduced first of course

I'm holding my final judgement until I try each of the characters out. but probably Morrigan and Dog included by default.

For the first play through I play on staying within the proverbial gray area so I do not make my members hate me or love me for that matter, this way I have a better idea of what I can and can not get away with on future games.

[Two-Bull]

Two-bull- the two handed Berserker/Reaver...Shale....Leilana a Bard/Ranger specced out in the archery tree....and Wynne a Shape-shifter/Spirit Healer with a focus on Offensive Spells.



If I can chose normal specializations for Shale I'll probably make him a Berserker/Champion.

Hmm... I wanted to go with a full in your face melee party, but that might end badly with out heals. I will see how well a human noble warrior (PC), Shale, Oghren, and Sten do, if they die often I will just pick up a healer.

Of course from what I see in Shale's video, he isnt exactly a melee character, but what is more intimidating that a giant rock man punching you?

Oghren, Shale and Leliana. Shale will be substituted out in the case of any "surprise" secret companion, if they exist in the game.

I think I've got it figured out for each origin story, finally.

First off I'll be going with the City Elf. Her party will consist of Alistair, Morrigan, and obligatory Zevran. I was wondering about taking Rabbit instead of The Black Magic Woman, but he can't cast spells. I also grief about the lack of Sten. But I'll try them as soon as I start playing a mage.
