I'm thinking Leliana and Alistair will complement this sly mage to my left just fine. The last spot is up still undetermined.

For my first playthrough I'm planning on playing an elvish mage with Alistair, Morrigan and Sten. These three seem to have the best party banter potential from what I've seen.

if morrigan cannot heal? then my pc will replace the tanks (since I am playing a warrior on my first plauthrough..will probably be Templar+Reaver or Reaver+Berserker depending on how good the reaver soul sucking abilities are) and I'll bring Wynnie

I was originally planning on:

-This guy (a mage)
-Alistair
-Zevran
-Wynne

But after seeing Leliana in the SA trailer, she might just end up bumping Zev out of his spot. Unless he's the only m/m romance, that is. In that case, Wynne might just have to sit back at camp and catch up on her reading.

I wanted to have to have the most dwarful group possible with Oghren, Shale, and Wynne (voted most dwarf-like mage of 2009) but I would have to play a rogue and I rather play warrior on the first run so that's on the back burner, for now I'm looking at my dwarven noble warrior with

- Sten
- Zevran
- Morrigan (runner up in the most dwarf-like mage pageant of 2009)

It'll be your character and up to 3 companions at once.

Got to have two mages in the team, because...there just can't be enough mages. Okay, maybe three of them would be a bit over the top...



For my rogue playthrough, i haven't decided yet, probably Wynne, Alistair and Shale (or Sten. or Morrigan...)

It will prolly depend on what class I'm playing though on the first play through with Sarah here, prolly Alistair, Leliana, and Sten. Course its all subject to change if party makeup isn't working out well. At any rate the amount of companions and the banter between them, along with the alignment system should make for some pretty interesting experiences and add quite a bit of replayablity to the main campaign.

I'll be playing a might-makes-right Mage on my first time through and will probably end up bringing..


-Leliana (Stabbity Rogue or Ranger, depending on third choice)

-Sten (2hander or tank, depending on third choice)

-Either Morrigan, Shale or Alistair. I am reluctant to bring two mages because I plan on starting the game on Hard, and worry about how I'll do with only Sten tanking.

-PC will be Arcane Warrior / Insert other here, I will have to see how things play out for me on whether or not I can get away with 1 tank warrior / 1 melee rogue / wannabe melee mage / shapeshifter. If it works out, my ideal party will be

Arcane Warrior (Pewpewzchoppychoppy and party buffs)
Sten (Sword and board)
Leliana (Stabbity Rogue)
Morrigan (Debuffs / Crowd Control / Healing)
