I'll get it, eventually. Depends on how annoyed I am with all the stupid things people are doing with guns in the real world (which has actually put me off Halo and ME3 for a bit, just cause I'm sick of guns for now,) and also depends on how addicted I am to Dragon Age 3.

Next ME I won't get into MP that much though, SP is what made the series outstanding.

me2 had the best sp campaign for me , me3 sp wasn't great so highly doubt me4 can top me2 let alone match it. sp will be ignored again especially as mp is going to be a huge improvement.

If Bioware completely extinguishes the single-player RPG element, doesn't write a strong story, I will smack Bioware in the face personally. Sorry Call of Duty fanboys, even though ME3 MP is undoubtedly awesome and addicting like a mofo, the reason Mass Effect is valuable or applaudable at all is because of its original SP story and lore.  

Like literally I will be on my death bed crying about this creative decision gone awry

Probably. Despite some story issues, the gameplay mechanics have gotten better and better every game in the series. Don't whine to me about bugs, the base game was pretty sound, they just used an old-as-the-hills engine and generated new content faster than they could fix the problems with it.

The success of MP caught everyone, developers included, by surprise, so they lacked the budget and manpower to fix everything. Next time around, I'm hoping they'll have learned from their mistakes, and give us the best mass effect ever. Plus, now that we're done with shepard, I'm hoping we'll get a Dragon Age Origins type thing where we can play as any race. Fingers crossed

Depends on the sp really. If I can choose my species in sp like an actual rpg than yes, if not then no.
