Yes. I have enjoyed all of the other games, so I will definately give ME4 a chance.

Too soon! Too soon!

Yes, I'm quoting myself.

But I'm actually kind of serious. I played ME1 three times, ME2 twice and am working on my third time now, ME3 1.5 times and still have my other playthroughs coming down the pipeline, and I LOVE the multiplayer component (closing in on 500 hours I think). So any talk of sequels (or prequels) just sounds daunting to me right now, borderline laborious.

It's like after watching the last Lord of the Rings movie. Do I REALLY want a whole 'nother trilogy on The Hobbit?

In the end, it will depend on what they do with the story. Hard to top a trans-galactic war.

I'm not saying yes or no at this point. I'm just going to be keeping an eye on it's progress and that hopefully I'll be able to run it.

Hopefully the game's spirit will be preserved. Will buy and check that out.

Depends on the sp really. If I can choose my species in sp like an actual rpg than yes, if not then no.

Good luck with that:
It never happened before... And probably the next game won't be the exception.

No certitude, i thought i'd buy DA2 but didn't when i learned what they'd made of it. I'm inclined to buy a ME sequel but you never know.

I'm 99,999999% that I'll buy it. I bought ME3 despite the bad reviews it received for the ending and liked it a lot (except for, well, the ending), but the multiplayer totally paid off.

Balance changes for ME3 are winding down, which screams ME4 is in major production.

I will, its supposed to be running on DICEs beautiful Frostbite 2 engine, so hopefully it'll be a good game, and also hopefully EA wont completely bury it and turn it into a s****y CoD clone like 343 did with Halo.

Dunno why people are saying too soon, ME3 is basically over and chances are they are working on 4 even as we speak. I loved all 3 games, and despite the whole ending of 3 which has been beaten over and over and over again, I'll still buy it. It didn't make me hate the series to a point where I don't want to see what a post shepard universe would be like. I'll of course wait for more details but odds are that I'll still get it, especially if we can play as some of the alien races. Having a human would be kinda silly now as who can fill Shepard's shoes?

No other game, book, movie, story, characters, ideas, have captivated my attention as much as the Mass Effect universe has. Yes there are things I don't like about it, yes there are things that I wish the game design did different, but that is because this game is well done and makes you forget that you are playing someone else's story, so my answer is Yes I will by M4 with out a doubt.

I love Bioware and have bought pretty much every single one of their games dating back to BG1. While I'm not at all happy with some of the recent stuff that's been happening in their studios, it's still the case that no other studio is really offering what I'm looking for. It feels like every other game I play is killing time until I find another BG, another DA, or another ME. Hell, another JE.

While my dissatisfaction with some things might mean I don't pre-order and instead wait 6 months for a price drop (let's be honest, I'll probably pre-order no matter how much I tell myself I shouldn't), I'll still get it. 'cuz Bioware.  Even if it means I have to car pool for a while.

Only if it's better than ME3.  Why pay twice for the same thing?

Not sure until we see what their vision is, I'd say about 99% yes though. Since their major titles go in cycles, the bigger question might be will you buy Dragon Age III and will you play it's multiplayer?

Yes. But hopefully they hire new writers for the SP story.

Probably. Despite some story issues, the gameplay mechanics have gotten better and better every game in the series. Don't whine to me about bugs, the base game was pretty sound, they just used an old-as-the-hills engine and generated new content faster than they could fix the problems with it.

The success of MP caught everyone, developers included, by surprise, so they lacked the budget and manpower to fix everything. Next time around, I'm hoping they'll have learned from their mistakes, and give us the best mass effect ever. Plus, now that we're done with shepard, I'm hoping we'll get a Dragon Age Origins type thing where we can play as any race. Fingers crossed :D

This ... so much. Having all the interesting chars in MP has stopped me from playing SP. I'd even take less skills, but more variety, just like MP. Just three skills, and your companions also with three skills, but with lower CDs as they have now.

Awesome.

Eh, I'll leave that decision for when I know something about the game, as I always do.

Yes and No. If the MP part is so tacked on as a after thought like ME3, then no. I might if the SP looks like it may be good. Let them fix the MP part in ME3 first.
